This was probably the best breakfast we've had in Chicago. I got the Nutella crunchy french toast. It was so incredibly delicious. The bananas were warm and caramelized. The strawberries were cold and refreshing in contrast and the entire thing was stuffed with warm gooey peanut butter and drizzled in Nutella. I could only eat half of it. We got the churros which were filled with strawberries and maybe cheesecake/cream cheese. They were yummy and it was a generous portion. My husband got the breakfast poutine and it was so unique and delicious. The cheese curds were fried and the gravy was perfect. We had about a 20 minute wait on a Saturday morning. Apparently you can put your name on the list through Yelp, which we didn't do and it was still reasonable. They text you so we went and sat by the dog park across the street and watched the dogs while we waited. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Chicago.

This place has the best breakfast. I absolutely loved the French toast. The coffee is delicious as well.

My 1st time having chilaquiles & it was AMAZING!! I'm a huge fan of Mexican food & had only recently heard of this dish so I've been wanting to try it. Everyone I was with also loved their meals. Definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel for 2 nights before we started our journey down Route 66. Had our breakfast on both mornings. You can get everything you would want in a breakfast diner. Excellent service & food.

Seemed like Edmundo L was upset about getting a large party or something, there were 7 of us. He took 15 min to greet us, brought us dirty water glasses (picture) and didn’t check us out. I have been a server for years and always tip great, second time in my life to not leave a tip. I’m surprised a restaurant with such a good reputation allows such a horrible server to stay on staff.

Awesome place to eat, drink and even work. We loved the pancakes, the churro donuts and the fish tacos. The drinks are also great! Service was also exceptional.

From Michigan and I gotta say one of the best breakfast places I have been to in my cross country travels. Great food and variety, great drink menu (get a drunken snowman), I loved the early 2000s dance music that played as well! Great atmosphere!

Eggy's dinner is tucked away on a lower level by a nice small Park. You'll find a variety of different things to choose from, ranging from pancakes to a Gryo skillet breakfast (which was very good). Three bloody Marys were pretty tasty as well. I recommend this place as a stop by when you're in one of the nearby hotels.

Awesome breakfast/lunch spot in the heart of the city next to a nice park. Menu provides plenty of options and the food was delicious. Place is always busy so go in expecting a lively environment. Definitely a must stop if staying in the downtown area.

Solid brunch spot with plenty of options and robust menu. Bread they serve as a side is memorable (i.e. not your average toast)
