So glad we found this adorable little Thai restaurant! Inside is decorated vibrantly & the staff was really welcoming! We ordered the duck wontons, chicken curry puffs (pictured), the weeks special “Kanom Jeen Song Krung” (pictured), the green curry, & the Thai Basil over rice. Everything was delicious, we enjoyed the mains more than the appetizers but we plan on eventually trying them all anyways! Both the special & the curry were ordered “Thai spicy” and lawd almighty they did not hold back! We enjoyed the heat but if you’re sensitive to spicy definitely beware! We finished off our meal with an iced Thai green tea which was delicious as well. When we left we noticed they have a really cute outdoor seating area as well which would be perfect for evening dining! We will definitely be back! Kob khun ka EaThai!
A truly 5-star experience!! The absolute freshest and most delicious food! Above and beyond derive that is so friendly! Good prices and a great menu. The green curry and the pad Thai are definitely stand-outs here but you could order anything and know it’ll be superb! They have the cutest outside seating area now with a roof covering for any weather. Open and serve until pretty late. Great ordering options (eat-in, take out, and/or delivery). They always have specials and last time we were there (May 2022), they had the absolute best dessert of my life- a deep fried coconut ice cream with sweet, sticky rice and nuts- Un.Believe.Able. A must try!!
First and foremost, the staff is hands down the best! Literally the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! And I’ve tried a few things on the menu and nothing has been a let down. Usually I regret straying from “the usual” but I never do here. The crab rangoon is the best I’ve ever had, the wings surprised me with how tasty and well cooked they were, the basil chicken egg rolls were bomb (so is the basil chicken over rice), and the Khao Soi is a best seller for a reason!
Placed our first order here for Mother's Day dinner & everything was very delicious & nice and hot when it arrived! Will definitely be ordering from them again! 5 out of 5 stars!
Such an amazing gem in the Avondale/Logan Square neighborhood. This is some of the best Thai I’ve had in a while and the staff are super friendly. My friend is celiac and they were very kind when we asked about cross contamination.I have been craving a delicious, authentic Pad Thai and stuck with that! And boy it didn’t disappoint. They were also able to add some spice which made it all the better and the chicken was super moist compared to other Chicken Pad Thai’s I’ve had before.
Been wanted to try this place for awhile now. Finally decided to try it today for lunch and it did not disappoint. It’s hard to find good Thai food in the area. I’m glad this place exist. Love the decor. The food was fantastic. Service was great. The owner is very friendly. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.
Fell in love with the interior design, very colorful and cute. Felt like I was in a movie scene eating there.Get the spicy or mild chicken wings as appetizers, they're both equally flavorful and delicious! All the food was great and came quickly.The people that own and work here are very lovely as well. I'm so glad I live close to this place, definitely coming back here often
EaThai is delicious, consistent, and did I say delicious?! The food is grade A and the service is outstanding. They have the creamiest Crab Rangoon with a flaky and perfectly fried exterior. The Pad Thai with shrimp is my fave but honestly I've never ordered a miss here! Wish they had locations city-wide as we are south siders. Thanks EaThai ❤️.
We usually get pickup, which is always flawless! I always get the clear broth chicken and rice noodle soup, it is savory and just a little spicy, so wonderful and warm on a cold day. Today I got delivery and it was fast, friendly, and hot! Everything was packaged well and arrived quickly. Even my dog won’t stop sniffing the air, it’s so good.
Our first time ordering tonight.The food was absolutely fantastic! Usually when I find a new Thai place, I order Pad Thai as benchmark for future orders. This is the best Pad Thai I have ever had in the city of Chicago. I know that's a bold statement but I stand by it.The mixed in chili flake and the larger than standard crushed peanut portion really made this dish for me. I will definitely venture further into their menu on my next order.The vegetable egg rolls were perfect crispy and light. The Duck wontons were SO delicious, next time I'm getting 3 orders ? I especially loved that they had 5 levels of heat for the main dishes. I contemplated the "Thai-hot" level but having been to Thailand, I have had Thai-hot (and survived, barely ) so I went with the regular hot level they had as a choice. Hot was plenty hot.Pick-up was a breeze and the owners were very welcoming and friendly.So happy to have found this gem.See you again very soon ??
