Wentnon a Wednesday, only one server and one cook, so service was slow, but the food was delicious. Everyone really liked the fish and chips, the haggis burger was delicious and the veggie sandwich came with more fresh veggies than any sandwich any of us had ever seen! Great value. Pretty nice beer garden as well

Disappointed at a weeknight, 928pm "sorry our kitchen is closed" walkin experience. The last time I was in I sat at the bar and was kinda ignored. Despite these sins, I have been coming here for over 30 years. It has been one of my favorite pubs in the city. Amazing fish and chips, duke salad, and sticky pudding. Great endless scotch list, and the servers are generally very attentive, even if the bartenders can be a little arrogant. Their food quality is extremely consistent and delicious.

Been here several times over the years. Always enjoyed there whiskey flights, though supply chain difficulties have made then hard to pull together. Food is tasty. Lovely patio out back.

The back patio/beer garden is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. It pairs nicely with their awesome UK inspired food/drink menu.

They have very good food here. The staff is so friendly here. Was here with my date. it was our first-time meeting together. we did enjoy our food and our time together

Best fish and chips in Chicago ?? Cmon Man !!It's not bad but not great. Bonus it comes with unseasoned cold green peas and all served up by a waiter with a piss poor attitude. Go to your local VFW instead

Excellent fish and chips. Fish is deep fried breaded and flaky; chips are a bit more American style; malt vinegar is given to you with your meal. My partner, an English-Welsh git, was chuffed. :)

Solid spot, good pub fare, and the tap selection is very nice

Amazing neighborhood pub with great food and an awesome UK heavy beer list. Two fireplaces, no tvs, no frills, and always a good time! Wednesdays and Fridays it’s all you can eat fish n chips!

My favorite bar in all of Chicago, and I think the only place you can order anything by Belhaven (but still looking for Belhaven Best!) There's a working fireplace and incredibly cozy seating. I haven't tried the food, but it's always packed around dinner time so I imagine that's a good sign. Definitely check it out if you're a fan of beers and/or whiskys.
