Food was interesting take on Chinese with American flair.
It was 95 degrees in Chicago and the air conditioning had gone out at Duck Duck Goat. It was unbearably hot as a customer and I canât even imagine being one of the workers in that environment. While not their fault that the AC went out, it would have been a nice courtesy of the restaurant to notify those with reservations in advance OR even at a minimum have the hostess make it known up front, in case guests decided they didnât want to stay. The bathrooms were also disgusting. I have had Great experiences here in the past and would hate to have the restaurant tarnish its reputation.
The food was amazing! Duck Duck Goat is my new favorite restaurant in Chicago!
Duck duck goat is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. But our experience last night was pretty terrible all thanks to the lack of AC. It was 90°+ and there was no AC and no moving air. Not even fans. Iâm shocked that there was zero effort to cool down the restaurant as all of the guests I saw were using menus to fan themselves.
Air conditioning was not working. It was low 80s outside and mid 80s inside. Duck fried rice was outstanding. Pekan chicken was very good. Crab Rangoon and fried spring rolls were fine, but nothing special.
An exceptionally hot day in Chicago, and unfortunately, that heat followed us inside the establishment. The food was phenomenal, per usual, but the HVAC of such a restaurant needs to be able to meet that demand. It was uncomfortable to the point that it distracted our party from fully appreciating the experience.
The Food was great but the AC WAS STRUGGLING and it was 92 outside. That definitely made the meal less enjoyable.
Nos esperábamos otros sabores. En lo particular se nos hizo la comida muy condimentada.
Excellent staff Food amazing Atmosphere spot on !!!
What a truly awesome meal. Great Asian riffs but authentic and accessible. Our server Jonathan was knowledgeable, professional but affable and personable. Like a pro that is also a friend
