Excellent authentic Vietnamese food
Friendly staff great food, nice small cafe.
Actually came here because the other pho restaurants at the end of the block that have nice outdoor seating were packed and no parking! So decided to circle around and saw the Asian grocer literally 2 blocks down by citibank. Came across this place inside the Asian market on a Sunday around 6pm, no people, no wait time for food which was nice. Ordered the seafood crispy egg noodle, it was a large portion for about $11, good deal. I knocked off a star from the rating because the mini scallops were actually cold. The rest of the dish like the egg noodles, veggies, and other seafood was hot but the scallops were cold when I bit into them. Gross! I figured they were cold because the cook must have thrown them in last so they wouldn't overcook, they were actually at the edge of the plate, but still they should be hot like the rest of the dish. Also ordered beef pho, large bowl, broth was flavorful, delicious, no complaints there, about $10. BEST spring rolls! Super fresh and loved them. I actually enjoyed them more than my egg noodle entree. This restaurant is located inside the Asian market, free parking in the lot. Hidden gem! Definitely give it a try.
My fav Vietnamese restaurant in the city. My fam used to come here during our bimonthly trip to Argyle when I was a kid, when Asian groceries were hard to come by in the burbs. This was usually our lunch spot if we were grocery shopping next door. Decades later, this place still doesn't disappoint. Food is consistently scrumptious, including their assortment of to-go desserts (I like the pandan/mung bean cake) and of course, Vietnamese iced coffee w/ condensed milk. The Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (grilled beef, egg roll, rice noodles) and Pho Dac Biet (the special pho w/ all the varieties of meaty goodness) are usually my go-to's but everything I tried has tasted wonderful.
Love this mom and pop shop! Been coming here since I was a child. I recommend everything!!
Homey and no-frills but super cheap, tasty and good quality food. Love the pho and banh canh the most.
This was my second time eating here within a week because I had to try the Pho I wasn't disappointed neither, I almost felt a Lil uncomfortable when I noticed I was being stared at while eating with chop sticks, We smiled it off though ???
Tasty and affordable Chinese and Vietnamese food. Don't let the interior decor scare you away (Order take out).
i used to work here. At the beginning, the owner promise to pay me 8.5$ per hour ( which is below minimum wage already). After work for 2 weeks, she just pay me 7$ per hour, when i asked her why she pay me the amount less than what she promise, she told me because i am a newbie!! Sound ridiculous!!!!!!
