This brewery spot has the most wicked concept ever! As many reviewers have said, you simply choose what beer you want and how much you want to pour. There's a BBQ restaurant, a gift shop, you can obviously take beer for home, a beautiful patio, and even boardgames! I found my new favourite brewery spot in the city.

Such a fun spot. 4 brewery’s make up this shared space with some really good bbq. We had several beers - one that was a pistachio cream ale! The food here was amazing - I would highly recommend the fries. They are piled high with melted cheese and steak.

First time being back since COVID and immediately reminded why we loved coming here previously. Big open spaces, tons of board games and tons of options beer wise for any flavor pallet. The BBQ exceeded my memory too and was delicious - brisket fries and and coleslaw.

Cool space with like 20-40 craft beers on tap from 4 breweries. Only ~2-3 gluten free drink options. Fun concept of pouring your own drink from the tap in the quantity you want and watching the price go up like you’re getting gas. However, prices in April 2022 are like $0.65-$0.75 per ounce, with a couple above and below that. Multiply that by 16 and you’re talking $10-$13 per pint, which is WAY more than the $6-$8 you’d spend at a normal bar or brewery. The one upside: if you want to try several things, you can do that pretty easily without paying $7 per beer. It also allows someone to spend like $5 on half a beer if that’s all they want to drink, where the least they could have spent elsewhere is $7. They also aren’t paying bartenders and you aren’t tipping them, which saves a little money but doesn’t make up for the high prices. If you’re pouring yourself full drinks, you’re better off at a different spot.Additionally, the only food is from an affiliated barbecue place that is not cheap and also doesn’t do much for vegetarians, let alone vegans. This place is fine. It’s a cool concept to pour your own beer. But it’s a lot more expensive per ounce than anything else in Chicago except maybe a fancy restaurant. You’re paying for the novelty and flexibility of the concept.

Interesting place. Social seating with beers from four breweries to choose from. A district brewery yards you pay by the ounce. The cheapest per ounce Brew I saw was $0.59, with average prices around mid .60 to low .70 cents. When you enter the building you give them your credit card, they in return give you a card to place on taps. The place is completely self-service. You pour your own drinks and you clean up after yourself. Many games available the play. Place was quite busy and loud when we visited. Food is on site and again totally self-served. We didn't eat there but it did smell good. Don't worry about tax and tips it's all included in the per ounce price.

Super cool place to hang out and try a bunch of really good craft beer! The self serve and pay by the ounce is unique and a fun way to try beers that you otherwise wouldn't. Worth checking out!

Great place for a perfect winter afternoon with lots of beer options. They do have heated patio where dogs are allowed. There are 4 beer dispensing sections with each offering 10 beers. You are given a swipe card which you can use to pour your own beer. Its a pay by ounce concept which makes it pretty easy to get carried away. Watch out on how much you drink if you are driving. Tried the fried pickle and cheetos mac & cheese. Both were great!!

It’s a cool spot. A contract brewery that has taps of the beer they brew in a electric pour your own beer model. And has BBQ on-site that you can pay for beer and food all with your electric card. Beer was quite pricey, but a fun environment near the United Center.

Great atmosphere. The concept w/ beer is a great idea. My partner and I love beer, and this is the kind of place we like to come and bring friends (or just us). They have a BBQ spot in there (!!!!!!!!!!!).. JP just jumped in there and helped us pick out some great beers (thank you, JP (that German lager was great)). Great place to hang out.

I had never been to a place with this concept before and it was a really nice experience. It was fun to get to try different beers without completely committing to one. The self-serve means you don’t have to wait around for a bartender to get to you. This strikes me as a good place to meet up with coworkers for some after work drinks. It gets very loud inside, so sometimes conversation is difficult. I like the expansive outdoor patio they have set up — not sure if it is a permanent feature or just for COVID.I believe they do serve BBQ inside. However, since it is so loud and busy, I think I would feel weird chowing down on some messy BBQ surrounded by other people. All in all, a cool concept and a nice way to try several local beers in one sitting.
