Came here for the first time on National Donut Day and so happy that I did! I got one of their coffee cake donuts and a cold brew. The donut was AMAZING ? One of the softest and lightest cake donuts I’ve ever had and it had just the right amount of sweetness. It’s super obvious to tell that there is intention placed behind the creation of each donut which is not always something you find.I wasn’t the biggest fan of their cold brew, it’s Metropolis coffee on tap — it’s just not strong enough for my personal taste … but I’ll still guzzle it down! ?Because they are so intentional about their donuts and items are dipped upon order there was a bit of a wait plus it being National Donut Day plus the fact that they are understaffed like everyone is lately. So as always, come in with patience and kindness. The staff is super kind so it isn’t hard ?Will be coming back again ! ?
Wow! Who knew this little gem was under my donut nose! I did learn my lesson moving forward. It’s on a corner so you can find it if you’re looking for it but you can pass b it for sure if you’re not looking.Some of the highlights are All You Need is Bacon, Mexican Hot Chocolate and Grandmas Annie’s Boston Crème!!All of these were fresh and good to go! These were a hit when I brought them on top of bringing some Concha’s.If you expect to pay a dollar or two for a donut, don’t come here. It was $27 for a dozen.Also bonus points for serving Metropolis Coffee!!We will be back for sure!!
Absolutely wonderful. Not overly sized. Great option of flavors. The staff was so nice and friendly. Gave us great recommendations. The Mexican hot chocolate donut was hands down our favorite. We also got a egg sandwich- the eggs in the breakfast sandwich were super fluffy. Really good.Cannot wait to come back for more!
This place is such a gem in Roscoe Village! I am a fairly new customer, discovered this amazing donut shop just a couple of months ago and I have been hooked ever since. Visiting Dip and Sip has been part of my weekly routine (we stop in once or twice a week faithfully). Everything is so fresh and delicious. The bare donuts are my ultimate favorite. My mother loves the bacon maple ones. The staff are so warm and friendly. And the donuts are outta this world! By far the best.?
Love Dip and Sip Donuts! Have tried many Chicago donut places but this has to be the favorite. Normally not a huge fan of cake donuts, but these are so delicious! Moist, fresh, and not overly sweet. The option to order online is another great feature at this shop. Highly recommend!
Hard to beat freshly made donuts. Warm and tasty. Best donuts I've had, worth the trip from Midway area. You'll likely have to wait a lil while as they're made to order, so make sure you have some time available, but definitely well invested time.
Vicki and her staff did an absolutely amazing job with my wedding donut cake! We ordered pumpkin donuts with a cream cheese frosting for a small cake for ourselves and our bridal party, and apple cider donuts for all our guests. I sent in photos of ideas I wanted, and they my our cake even better than I ever could have imagined! I absolutely recommend them for any occasion, especially if you are looking for something creative and unique. They have fair prices and the taste and the artistic quality of their items is second to none.
Went early on a Sunday morning. I was greeted with the smell the donuts walking up the street. Caky inside, but not to dense! Still crispy on the outside. I’d rank over dorite and Stans.What I Tried…….Mexican chocolate donut: Spiceful and the mousey cream was excellentApple cider donut: Up there with the best I’ve had from farmers marketsSprinkle: Classic & more tame than the other two, but intentionally. Still great, but if your on the fence go with the more speciality flavors imo!
