One of the best Seafood places in Chicago. Highly recommend picking out 6 or 7 items and have them fry it up. Welcome to Delicious.
Not customer friendly, especially the owner. He will always be the same. The food quality has gone down.
I bought a pound of jumbo shrimps that wasn't fully cooked and when I called to complain about them the manager had the nerves to tell me to put them in the oven for awhile!!! I won't spend almost $30 there again ...I ended up throwing them in the garbage ,wasted money and he had to know they weren't done ,because the batter was falling off !!!!
I ? DiColas fresh tasty seafood you can have cooked or buy & cook it at home & they have all the ingredients you need instore seasonings also.
Absolutely amazed this place is still open. This place is a shell of its former self. Food and service has taken a major drop off. I've seen gas stations that sell food ran better than this. Service is unapologetically rude. Food is not far from box frozen thrown in a basket with no crackers, bread, french fries, package of salt, packet of ketchup or hot sauce, that is extra. And when customers inquire about such amenities they looked at them like they're speaking French. Every restaurant or fast food joint always has those side items. They are certainly aware of it or else they wouldn't try to sell it on the side. They want to treat it like a fish market that is clearly no longer selling fresh fish. Only fresh thing in that place is when the door opens and new air comes in. Too many major grocery stores do what they used to do better. Today I saw them being rude to a customer they're clearly had a legitimate gripe. I certainly will not be going back.
Frog legs were big and fresh, but they cheated me out of my order. I ordered 7 frog legs and when I got home I only had 3
I purchased the filet catfish usually it's good. But the last couple of times it has been fried too hard and the fries are usually fried crispy this time they were soft.
The shrimp is not fresh anymore it looks like imitation crab for the price I pay I want fresh shrimp not processed and battered . Been going to Dicolas for a long time but I’m done as far as any battered food it’s not fresh n the taste isn’t good anymore
I love their sea food , Jumbo shrimp, Alaskan king Crab legs , fish . The best I've had, I drive an hour and a half Just for the Jumbo shrimp .
The fish nuggets that were thicker was extremely dangerously under cooked terrible but the shrimp fried rice is always delicious. I called & the manager offered to only replace the certain piecesbut didn't bother to offer me a free drink or something for the inconvenience. I live near Indiana and was in the cityshopping to far to return food.
