Refused to give me the dollar amount of food I ordered. Regardless of it ordered thru Grubhub or too good to go, it’s bad business to offer someone a $12 thing and say it’s equal to the $18 worth of food they purchased
Cashier was on her phone all the time, did not wash her hands to make the bowls. She kept touching her phone barehanded while making the bowl. Bowls are delicious but after seeing this I don't feel like coming back again.
I was in earlier today (10/20 around 10:30 am) and the woman working was juggling a lot. As a first time customer, she was very patient and answered all the questions I had. She was multi tasking and working the shift by herself so I appreciated the customer service and patience!
The bowls are great, not the best in the area but definitely yummy! My biggest issue is the ambiance, both times I’ve come to this location they have had music BLASTING to the point where I couldn’t hear the staff member and they couldn’t hear me - I had the word motherf*cker blasting in my ear the most recent time I was there - def takes the enjoyment and calm out of getting my açaí bowl after a good run - i just go to another place now
I’ve only had the Açaí bowls. I love it and highly recommend trying it!
The acai bowls at Deep Purple are delicious and the customer service is outstanding. Ebony, the woman who made our food, answered the phones, worked the cash register, and provided amazing customer service was clearly doing multiple jobs incredibly well, while also managing to be kind and compassionate. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back myself for the great food and customer service.

Delectable açaí bowls - all the toppings tasted and looked fresh. The açaí consistency was pleasantly frozen.I liked the ordering process. Staff were friendly and helpful.
My favorite açaí bowl in Chicago! Great prices and great customizations. Their peanut butter… chefs kiss! I always get it delivered and it always comes in perfect condition. <3
I’m just confused, it’s really good açaí, but the fact that they didn’t have their acai machine running by opening was really disappointing. Then the employee said I can wait there till it was ready, and I asked how long it was going to be, and they said 15-20 minutes, I called cap and just left. Can’t wait for tropical smoothie cafe to open up.
