Went here for a restaurant week dinner with friends! The staff was excellent and sat us near each other even though we had two reservations. Our server also gave great recommendations. We all really enjoyed the food although a couple dishes were hit or miss for me. My favorites were the whitefish appetizer and the black truffle ravioli. Their playful desserts were awesome too.The space is small so you definitely need a reservation. It has a good vibe overall!

We had a fantastic dinner at Daisies for the last day of Chicago restaurant week. We opted for the restaurant week menu, which consisted of four courses, most of which were smaller versions of dishes they have on their regular menu.Every course was absolutely terrific - flavors were amazing and the creativity of many of the dishes was really great. What stood out most is that none of their dishes have unnecessary fluff: a limited amount of ingredients that speak for themselves, flavor-wise.My favorite by far was the turkey tortellini in brodo, although the mushroom ragu pappardelle deserves an honorary mention as well - I’m not even that big of a mushroom fan, but they were amazing and super flavorful in this dish, which made me not miss the meat at all. Spectacular! We will be back soon to try more of the pasta on the menu for sure. The staff was super friendly, and the vibe is laid back and appropriately Logan Square-y - with a bit of hipstery edge. Definitely recommend!

Pros: The staff and ambiance was fantastic- so nice, and really a cool space. Everyone was warm and friendly and welcoming! The wine pairing with the prefix was amazing, orange wine forever!!!Cons: my husband and I were both super underwhelmed by the food. The presentation was good but it honestly just didn’t taste good. We left really surprised and disappointed. Maybe this is because it was a prefix Valentine’s Day menu and making several courses for the entire restaurant was hard. Maybe worth another try on a regular evening

I have been wanting to go here since 2019 and finally we’ve gone! Yasmine (possibly jasmine and I messed up) was a beyond incredible server. She gave literally the best wine recommendation for my sort of newish red wine palette! Not only that but she and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Thank you daisies for a wonderful date night. Amazing food too. If you want true Italian look somewhere else! But this place? Fits your pasta craving with so much more. Worth every penny!!

Amazing pasta- everything was so fresh & flavorful. Excited to try more. The mushroom bolognese and the ravioli (made vegetarian) were both amazing. Had the chips & onion dip for an app, which was good but not something I would get again.Place is small so make reservations. Most things can be made vegetarian. Mandatory 25% tip but service is good.

Great food! Would have been 5 stars if service was better, no one came to take our drink order for 20 minutes. You pay a mandatory 25% tip, so I would expect top quality service, but perhaps it was simply a busy night.Highly recommend the onion dip app and the pappardelle. We will be back!

What a pleasant surprise!!!! Did not expect the trendy interior with the exterior. Also the prices were great, but the star is the sandwiches! Wow! Blown away by their sweet potato mozzarella and white fish sandwiches (respectively). It was so.... Good! Also great dip! Service is also great and the coffee is really really really good! Come here and eat!!!!!!!!!!!I'd recommend having just some plain potato chips!

This meal put me in touch with the divinity of pasta. I don’t like pasta, especially traditional Italian pasta but daisies employs some culinary geniuses. It was one of the best dining experience I’ve had in Chicago and I try to eat at a new restaurant every week. The inventiveness of the pasta, the imaginative flavors and pristine cooking. I am in love. I had the raw squash salad, the gnocchi (if I was alone in the restaurant I would have been screaming incoherently it was that good) and the ravioli with celery root and truffle ricotta. If I could sleep in their bathroom to wake up to the smells of pasta prep, I would do it. It was a warm embrace with a long forgotten friend. I entered the space a woman, and I left a Daisy myself.

Absolutely delicious!! I went here for my birthday dinner, and had a fabulous time. The service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. My friend and I split three dishes, and they were all equally great. Will definitely be back!!

I really like Daisies. The gnocchi is always very good. As are the other pastas. The menu changes frequently and always has focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. It is a small space which can get a little loud. Cocktails were hit or miss, I did not enjoy the fennel based drink as it was more anise/liquorice forward, but I understand I probably shouldn't have ordered it. Service was great. I'd give this place 5 stars just for the gnocchi.
