A place by Da Mao’s staff is rude. Their family sized entree comes with only one rice which is not even full. The packaging is really nice but that’s the only high quality thing at this restaurant
I love coming here it was the last restaurant I went to before the lockdown started last year. Since then I've just been ordering pickup/delivery. The last order I placed for delivery arrived with a little packet containing an n95 mask and a note about coming together as a community and staying safe which was unexpected but so deeply appreciated. The food is always so good and the menu is labelled for dietary restrictions. I think about the chengdu fries and tofu bean curd all the time. Thank you so much for bringing such good food and wonderful spirit!
Togo packaging was great but counter was pushed right up to the door. Hope they reopen indoor dining soon.
They are well known for small portions size~ But this is like a joke to me. Only 3 fking pieces of Naohua in one order.
Ordered the Assorted Meats and Veggies from Chowbus delivery. Amazing food and hope to go in person some time and try additional dishes!
Just got takeout from here, they are still open during quarantine! The process was super simple and safe. My food was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Support our great local businesses and treat yourself to some takeout from this gem.
The bell dumplings are hands down the best thing you can buy in the city for less than $6. I dream about them. Don't be intimidated by the spice--staff is happy to adjust. Other favorites are the ribs and soft tofu.
So I ate the hand pulled sweet and spicy noodles st their pop up booth at the Taste. I got the true experience--eating street food on the street!\\n\\nJokes aside, their noodle dish is outrageously good. The noodles were tender, chewy, not obnoxiously bouncy or hard. I'm not good enough to be able to discern if they are hand pulled noodles since they look somewhat uniform, but the consistency and texture are great. The sauce is sweet, smoky, and subtly spicy at first, until you're surprised how the dish is fighting back with you and your mouth is on fire. It's slurpable, easy to eat, slightly oily which is perfect fare for eating on the go, and when you're finished you feel relief as the burning sensation still lingers.\\n\\nMy coworkers and I had an experience from the noodles alone; I can't wait to check out their actual restaurant.
