I love this place. I've only been here once and that was enough for me to get addicted. I was planning on going to the Starlight restaurant down the street. But when I was walking with my friends I smelt the donuts in the air from down the street. We ended up passing it and I went in. The lady was sooo nice and let us try the donuts for being first timers. She also said if we were to get all A's at school that we could get that huge donuts they have for free. So I worked hard. I got all A's and I am coming to get my donuts. I will be there next week. You can count on it.
When you promised your spouse you would make pancakes, but the morning was too busy. Make it up to them with D&D’s Place. They will forgive you 1000xs plus!!! Never disappointed. Delicious fresh donuts and an asset to the community ❤️❤️❤️.Thanks for all that you do
As a first time customer today, I could not recommend this donut shop enough. The owner was informative, kind, and clearly knows a thing or two about customer service. Forget going to a major chain for donuts that are made in a factory off site, go to a local place like D&Ds Place instead! The various flavors of fruit glazed donuts tasted like the real thing because they use real fruits! I will be returning for sure!
I have never tasted a better donut in my life. You can taste the love in every bite. Plus, the owners are sweet, pleasant and make you feel like family with each visit! I’m a life long customer.
The donuts from here are absolutely delicious. The owners are a true joy and amazing people. I came in here for the first time and they offered me free samples. They truly feel passionate about what they do and they give back to the community.
Fresh delicious donuts. The apple fritter is the best! The customer service is friendly and the owners are wonderful people. This place is a hidden gem. If you live in Chicago or are visiting, this donut shop is a must visit.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but I can't. Walking in, you are greeted by a wonderful woman. I have visited this place 5 times, and each time has been the same experience. I go on my way to work, so it's always around 7am when they open. I have been wanting to try the different varieties of donuts but everytime I get there, they tell me that the oil isn't hot, they just got there and they aren't ready yet, or that they only have glazed for now. So if you want a glazed donut, it's one of the best that I've ever had. Other than that, I don't know. All I can think about is that old Dunkin donuts commercial where the guy gets up in the middle of the night and says, "time to make the donuts". I just assume that if you open at 7, donuts should be ready at 7.
I was in Oak Lawn for a doctor’s appointment and needed a bite to eat. I was actually just a block away from this place and I am so happy I stopped. The woman working was an absolute joy! I must have had that “newbie” look so she gave me the scoop on the place and samples of both the buttermilk and yeast donut holes. My dad made donuts for us growing up and that’s what these reminded me of. So fresh and delicious! Perfectly crispy on the outside and still warm on the inside. I definitely need to stop by again. The six pack I bought didn’t last long!
They have the best donuts I have ever eaten!!! Every time I go there they seem to amaze me with how fresh there donuts taste!!! They have so many different kinds to choose from and because they all are so good its the hardest part to decide on what to get!!!
