I have always wanted to stop by and try the food. May I tell you it did not disappoint. Delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Highly recommend for any type of occasion.
Came here with my family and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I had their chicken fried rice and enjoyed it. Waitress was very polite and patient with us.
This restaurant is not like before anymore. When I order a 1/4 of a plate of pollo la brasa for one person they brought it only with a small amount of chicken also it was not cooked well because it tasted dry and also plus the ceiling fans that are around the room make it even worst because it cool’s all the food down. Honestly this is a complete waste of money.
My food was a little salty but good. My family members had mixed reviews on their dishes. Customer service was not good. Server seemed annoyed with us
Peruvian food in Chicago doesn’t get better than this! Being Peruvian and always looking for great authentic food is tough to find on the south side, so I always have to head north for my fix! D’Candela is my go to anytime I’m in the area. The food is always extremely good no matter what I’ve tried. The dishes here do not disappoint. I was also happy to find them being open on Memorial Day. Please don’t ever change a thing unless it’s adding more dishes! Great food, great service and perfect location!
Ordered food from this place for the first time. It was delicious, would definitely come back and try the other items on their menu.
The place is nice and the servers do a great jot at asking you feel welcomed. The food was okay hence the 3 stars. My Lomo Saltado was a bit dry and they forgot an item on my dish which they brought later. The Pariulea was to watery and had little seafood in it.On the other hand Tha Peruvian tamales ellas exceptional. The prices are high now. 20.00 for a soup seems a lot and over 5.00 for one tamal, also high.
I order a deliver from the restaurant and was good.. The empanada was delicious great flavors! The one with chicken.. The chicken and rice was great! Too the only down point was the YUCA was over cooked and was hard..
The food tastes delicious and the service is great ?? I got myself Seco de Carne and the meat was very soft and delicious. The food they give in one plate is definitely enough to leave you satisfied.
Hello, the chicken was delicious but they forgot the bread. I had it to go. Delicious rice and yuquitas . I also got the huancaina sauce which was delicious as well just a little price in my opinion because they give you very little .
