The food was good and our waitress was good too, but I am the type of person that observes everything. What I saw and heard did not sit well with me. First I'd like to say i am Mexican and very proud of my heritage, my culture, and my people. What I did not like was the language the employees used amongst themselves and about customers. This bothered me to the core. The foul and negative words coming out of their mouths was beyond embarrassing to me as a Mexican American. First and foremost you are representing the establishment you are working for. Secondly you do not know if the people around you can speak and/or understand what you are saying. Lastly, if you need to make a comment about someone or something do not use foul or derogatory language and privately so the entire restaurant does not hear you. Mi gente, my people, I know you are extremely hard working, but let us remember that we are a representation of the rest of the Mexican people. NO we are not all like that. Let's be better than this.

Food was sort of ok. We found a hair in our food. Server told us that it was a hair from the salsa (ok.) Our server was to busy eating her meal and couldn’t come and check us. We heard her said that she couldn’t come to us til she was done with her meal.Customer service not good. We also saw another table looking around for more than 15 min because they wouldn’t take their order. The only good thing was the mimosa.

Food was very delicious very season and gave you a lot of food

It was my favourite diner experience in Chicago. Good ambience, great service and excellent food. Apart from the usual breakfast menu, I loved their skillet menu! It's very satisfying if you want a savory breakfast or brunch (or any meal for that matter!). Oh and did I mention the optimum portion sizes? This mattered a lot to me who isn't a US resident and most definitely isn't used to huge portion sizes in every meal. We were able to finish all the dishes we ordered for ourselves without having any leftovers to be packed in takeaway boxes (and share an extra dish just for the indulgence! ). So on the whole, it checked every box unexpectedly! Now, I'm not in Chicago anymore and I sincerely miss Cosy corner. Can't wait to visit again in the future!

I love Cozy Corner! We’ve ordered from here a few times and just ordered some breakfast for pickup today. There was someone else with the same name who ordered at the same time as me (go figure!) but the staff and Management at Cozy Corner were quick to get me my order and man, it’s delicious as always! Their service is top notch and efficient with a smile. We are regulars and look forward to continuing to be!!

la comida es muy rica, se los recomiendo y sus trabajadores son muy amables.

Most of the food dishes are a bit pricey. The service and cleanliness is very excellent. The bean burger is an ample portion and not pricey. Overall a good value with good customer relations.

Go-to corner diner. Not fancy, just good food and hot coffee served by great people

Great service and breakfast portions are very generous! Not so much for other meals. My patty melt patty was swallowed up in bread with just a sprinkle of grilled onions ☹️. It was definitely not worth the $13! Add fries for $2 more! I really wish I would have taken a picture. The table literally went quiet when my food arrived because it was so sad looking.

Been going to Cozy corner for years and I love their breakfast. My go to are the egg white omelettes, french toast and pancakes. French toast has a nice cinnamon flavor, pancakes are the bomb.com with their buttery taste and the omelettes are just fresh with the ingredients. Not a fan of their hash browns anymore since they added cumin to them. It's just overpowering. Staff is usually nice and accommodating. If you go on Saturday morning or afternoon be prepared to wait to be seated. With Covid still around, I prefer to just order over the phone and pickup at the restaurant.
