Great neighborhood place to have coffee, listen to live music and browse the books.

The best place to grab a book on sale, zone out and get some work completed. The homemade chocolates and fresh baked goods are soooooooo good, it's like snack heaven ?

Doing so much to support and benefit Ukraine with live music, truffles and postcards! Best selection of magazines in the city! Awesome cafe!

I just wandered into this little cafe/shop and I have so many good things to say about it. Everyone was so friendly, the pastries are delicious, and everything is really reasonably priced. I loved the live music! Will definitely be coming back!

Tons of mags, a cafe atmosphere with crafted drinks and lunch items. Silent film night took me back to those glorious black and white flicks, but this time around, live music as was the custom. Fun time there and owner is a man of great business experience. Most hospitable.

Been coming for years still my chill out place.Great hot chocolate and Chilli ? and etc.Staff is amazing especially George and Donna:) .Also great selection of magazines.

Stopped in for a cup of hot coffee on a cold grey Chicago day. What a treat it was. The Cafe has by the cup drip coffee, Bakery choices in the dessert case and a great surprise of handmade chocolates.I love that they have everything magazine imprint along with a great selection of books. A great neighborhood gem that needs to stay in these times when the small businesses ( especially bookstores) are hard to find.If your in the neighborhood definitely stop in. You won't be sorry.

I have lived on the northwest side of Chicago and never been until last week. Really cute coffee shop in front, bookstore in back. Has some cool local books if you are looking for a cool book on Chicago. They also have Blue Lives Matter homemade chocolate truffles. A portion of the sales go to the families of fallen police. The man working was friendly and the place had a good vibe.

I've enjoyed going here for 20 years. Always a great selection of magazines. I really enjoy their art, music and food magazine selections. Great newspaper picks and books as well. The coffee shop they added a few years ago is a great stop as well.

A must go for anyone who loves reading and coffee. The owner is such a lovely person! She gave me a home made chocolate which was one of the best chocolates I’ve ever eaten. Thank you!
