Hot dogs are amazing! I wish I could try more things but sides and deep fried Twinkies we're sold out when I went.I ordered the Chicago and the Obama style. It was pretty good.The local is small but I would like to come back because it worth it.

I was very disappointed with the so called Chicago style Hot Dog . I ordered 3 and had to throw one away. As I took a bite of the cold stale hot dog the bun fell apart. Sorry to say but it was nasty!. I was at the hot dog fest in Portage park last Sunday. How can they even serve a hot dog looking like this! I will never purchase from this establishment ever again!
Chicago is a town known almost as much for it's unique take on the all-American hotdog as it is for the pizza. Dog House offers a great selection of creative dogs that really showcase all that a Chicago dog is capable of of. With a great variety they can meet any craving ranging from a low-end chili dog, to something truly creative with a selection of pickled veggies on it. If you can only try one dog place in Chicago, Dog House would be a solid selection.
Hot dogs are delicious! Great customer service and our food was ready very quickly.I think it is a little pricey however Chicago hot dogs tend to be more expensive than elsewhere.We ordered a plain hot dog with cheese sauce, an Obama dog, a Midway dog, and cheese fries. Our order cost $26. It is worth the price though.
Hellooo!!! Visiting from miami beach for a few days I had a veggie hot dog combo which comes with crispy fries and a soda for $5.99 as advertised.The hot dog was great, so were the fries, so was the red hot chili peppers play list!!! Ho yeahhh!!Thanks for the great service guys!!!!
I went specifically to have a Chicago style hot dog, and got one. Really nice, tasty food, simple and inexpensive, just great. With a healthy portion of fries, it's a good lunch for about $8, good stuff!

Visited as a first timer in Chicago while trying to check all the food must-dos off our list. We ordered one classic Chicago hot dog and one chili cheese dog and French fries. Delicious, and great service in a fun spot.
The Elite dog is delicious. I recommend the lobster-style roll so you get less bread to more dog and toppings. The street corn was also great. My husbant got the chili dog and it was also amazing. We will be back.
