Brought our family tonight. Everything was off the charts!! Ricardo was our waiter and completely awesome. I recommend requesting him, wonderful service.

Great service and views of the river!
The appetizers and ambiance was the best parts of the experience. They messed up two of our four orders. One steak was completely overcooked and the other was the wrong steak entirely. It took them 25 additional minutes to correct the two orders. They proceeded to charge us for both steaks even though they threw off our entire meal timing. For the price there are much better options in the downtown Chicago area.
The steak was one of the best cuts of meat Iâd ever had in this city! Highly recommend.
What a terrible disappointment. I went here with my husband and potential clients. The server did not know anything about the menu. Even after looking at 'cheat sheets' she could not answer questions. And, even after going to ask the kitchen questions, she did not answer questions in a satisfactory manner. My guest's steak came out too rare and it was sent back. My broccoli was still frozen, even though the cup was hot. It, too, was sent back. Our server was as sweet as can be, but knowledgable she was not. She did not check on us often and she told us the kitchen was really busy. The restaurant was less than 20% full for a weekday lunch. If you can't handle that, then I don't know what to say.
Everything was great! We sat on the River walk but I reccomend sitting inside for a true steakhouse vibe.
Chicago Cut is the best steakhouse in the city. Thatâs not up for discussion. I personally LOVE the Cajun ribeye and get it every time. Other favorites are the truffle potatoes, Brussels sprouts, kale & quinoa salad. My only critique is around atmosphere. The seating can feel a little crowded inside, with tables fairly close together (Note the volume is still perfect for conversation). Also the decor has that older steakhouse look, which to some will feel classic & traditional.. but to others can feel a tad dated. However, the outdoor seating is very very nice, and when I donât sit outside, I still I donât mind sitting inside at all. To be clear, all and all you canât go wrong with Chicago Cut. I came with my team after a quarterly meeting and everyone was very impressed⦠rightfully so. And Iâll continue coming into the future.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here (2nd time coming), and all was good, food, options, portions but the waiter (2nd time too) are just so uptight and just rushing us and not enjoyable. We sat down and our waiter was asking us for our drinks and we never saw the menu. It was that way till we left. Not impressed with the wait staff at all. It's a shame, bc everything else was good.
Great location. Weather was fantastic when we went so we sat outside next to the River. Food was good. Fun time.
Great meal & service, as always. Beautiful dining by the river. Deserving of its reputation as one of the best restaurants in the city.
