Outstanding authentic Szechuan cuisine, the best Chinese we have found on the north side! Favorites include mapo tofu, boiled fish Sichuan style, and crispy eggplant. Large portion sizes and reasonable prices. Takeout is great but dine in always tastier; the dining room is basic but nice and spacious. It might take 7 years, but we hope to try everything on the menu.

Second week in a row I’ve ordered it, asked for its “very very very spicy” because I don’t want there to be any room for interpretation of just how spicy I want it. Both times it’s come back negative spicy. Which almost at that point seems on purpose, because they followed the other special instructions. Food was fine, but what the point of special instructions if you don’t even do them .
Absolutely delicious and authentic food. The scallion pancake, zhong’s dumplings, and the sichuan beef noodle soup were all perfect and so amazing. Incredibly authentic tastes; the most authentic we have had in the US. A must-try for anyone.
Full-bodied Sichuan spiciness… this place is excellent. I tried one of their specials, fatty beef and tofu with green peppercorns… outstanding. My mouth is still tingling. One bite better than the next.
Excellent feed, friendly service
We went for the Zhong dumplings but loved everything we tried! They do have a bar too, which is nice. The menu has a lot of spicy items, but I was there for that..We split 2 entrees, a vegetable, and two orders of dumplings. Walked out stuffed and had plenty of leftovers.
We came out to wicker just to eat here. As a long time listener first time caller I was absolutely impressed. Attentive service, great food, affordable prices. We will totally be back.
This restaurant is so disgusted. They lost my pick up and gave to a wrong person, but they claimed they were not responsible, because I didn’t order from their online system instead of Ubereat. They told me they never verified pick-up person’s identity because they got many orders everyday. They don’t care about my order at all and blamed on Uber system all the time. This restaurant insulted me by their irresponsible explanation later. Here is what they told me. Do you want to believe that there is a person in chicago who got my order information, could arrive in restaurant half hour in advance than me, knew this restaurant never verified pick up person’s identity, and was eager for 2 dishes only on Saturday night? Compared to the fact that this resistant just simply gave my order to a wrong person? They wish I could take what they said above. Am I that stupid? I will never go to this restaurant and recommend to anyone around me. Yeah. I’m Chinese. If you really like Chinese food, DO NOT come here. You DESERVE a better meal!!
