So glad I found this place! Situated right in the heart of Chinatown, Chef Xiong is delicious, has a nice atmosphere, is very reasonably priced and the service was great. Would definitely recommend and return.
Szechuan beef in spicy soup is my must order. Beef is very tender and also tasty .Vegetables are also fresh. The spiciness is very suitable for my taste.Their service is also very good. They actively solve problems every time. Help with meal habits or requests.Chongqing popcorn Chicken is delicious too. Will have proper peppercorns, may be uncomfortable for some. But the chicken is crispy.Hygiene is also done in place, no stains or other problems.
The perfect example of a real “ma la” restaurant ! Very nice service, great food and taste, and a lot of choices! We felt we were in a table in Chengdu ?
Such a wonderful blend of flavor and seasoning. Family portions worth sharing to add to the tastes you get to have. Very friendly priced.
Generally authentic Sichuan food. We had 4 dishes and 3 of them are great except the beef tongue which is too bland.
totally disappointed. That was the worst Chinese food that I ever had. I ordered the live fish with pickle muster green. It turned that they use the frozen dead fish instead and charged me the higher price. The eggplant was over cook. The spice beef was salty and spice. Not authentic at all. The food was not fresh. Will not come back.
A great first time experience.Beef tendon was deliciously unctuous and spicy.Ox tripe in chili sauce was layered with flavors. The portion was huge. I ate it for days. Very authentic. According to my Chinese roommate. Thank you.
Went specifically searching for a dish I found during my travels - chongquin chicken. A delish dish with a qunique flavor and quite hot/ spicy. This place delighted me with having it on the menu and to top it was perfect. Exactly as I remembered. We also ordered a cold appetizer potbelly, dumplings in hot sauce and a beef dish with cumin and cilantro. Each dish had a unique flavor so different from the standard fare you get at most Chinese restaurants. The setting is clean, you order from your table using an app, very easy! The whole experience was great and the wait staff very attentive and friendly. We will be back for a special treat from time to time. Wish this was closer!
Best Sichuan restaurant I’ve been to in years! The owner is very nice and attentive. The dish portion here is huge, perfect for sharing. We ordered fish fillet in green peppercorn soup, stir fry slice potato, and boiled pork blood & tripe in chili sauce—everything was delicious!
We went on a Saturday afternoon and it as empty. Haha we had low expectations and ordered the Curry chicken and Pot sticker side. Omgg we were not expecting the chicken curry to be sooo good ? The plate sizes are shareable!!! It filled us both up. Definitely want to checkout more food here!
