Normally I'm pleased but today, not so much. I ordered what was on the menu as smothered pork chops, NOT, great northern beans and Mac and cheese. The chops were not smothered and the beans still had a crunch to them. The Mac and cheese were on point and the cornbread was very good.

Many esthetic improvements since my first visit in 2017. It's a very small restaurant with some limited seating. They had a steady stream of customers, which I did not experience on my first visit; seems the improvements made a difference.The food is reasonably and comparably priced. I had the baked chicken meal with green beans, candied yams, mac n cheese with a free side of corn bread.My favorite were the yams. The chicken and green beans were basic. My wait was about 10 to 15 minutes. Good alternative to fast food.
I recently just tried chef daddy for the first time . The food was not good at all . The Mac and cheese was dry , the pork chop and chicken had a funny taste plus it was dry . I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone .
The caramel cake was dry, the front was dirty the food containers had food dripping from one side to the next. The presentation of the food sitting there was just off!!
