Oh my goodness. From the second I walked in, the staff was wonderful, welcoming, inviting, [insert positive adjectives]. Cara was a delight and the rest of the staff followed her delightful lead. Apparently bitter alcohol \\u003d super sweet staff.

I've been in the Chicagoland area for over 15years now...and yet this was my first experience of MALÖRT... And it will be the last time! :)\\nExcept for the Tequila and Japanese whiskey, the rest of it distilled onsite. Surprised that they carried Suntory Yamazaki. Enjoyed it with clear ice.

Great service! Great drinks! Chill and casual vibe! They have a distillery tour!

The tour is amazing. Please try all the Malort variations - worth every sip. Cara is a sage guide and and kicked our experience up a notch. Next time you're in Chicago, stop by for a handshake.

Good negiri and great house negroni but I wouldn’t go back. The space doesn’t feel like a sushi destination. The first thing you see is a wall of Malort merch and if you’re sitting near that wall it’s in your face. The acoustics are poor because of the tall ceilings and the music is loud to the point the servers can’t hear your order, not to mention the people sitting across from you. It just made us rush our dinner so we can go somewhere and continue our conversation. These are potentially easy fixes for the otherwise good restaurant!

Wonderful craft cocktails. Beautiful merchandise. Friendly service.. And they never run out of Malört.

I'm sorry but Malort is not for me, they drained the chicago river steeped it in lime rinds and boiled it with D batteries. You could torture insurgents with this stuff.

They have the same fancy cocktails you’d expect at the Violet Hour, but they’re less expensive

This place is amazing. The mecca of malort. Great food, great drinks

Ch distillery was one of the best places I have toured. There entire production was amazing and it’s not something people normally get to see. Thank you every one from there that allowed us to tour your facility and long live malort!!
