I was on the party organized in this place. The food was typical Greek. Even the beer too. I've tried two different brands of beer. Both were good. As far as the food, there was a lot of typical Greek appetizers, which were so delicious. The main dish was a baked pasta with ground beef and melted cheese on the top. It was yummy! Sweet table also had some Greek accents, the tasty ones. The service was very good. I recommend this place. RomanP

Central gyros has been around for almost 50 years. My parents took my family there when we were kids and I took my kids there. We visited again last night. This food is authentic Great Greek food at a reasonable price. I had the Greek trio sampler with Mythos beer. Don't forget the rice pudding for desert with dipla to go. ?
Sorry guys......UNDERWHELMED!Chicago is full of great Gyro places and this one is mediocre. Too bad because the sign is cool, big place inside, pretty good service but the portions for the $14.99 gyro combo just to make it worth another visit. I was hoping for more.
We’ve been going to Central Gyros for 20 years. The entire experience every time has been great. Don’t miss the saganaki, gyros plate, salad, soup, really anything there is wonderful. Also their food travels very well so takeout is always an option. Get a large container of Tzatzki … the best. You cannot make better at home.
I was excited to try this place because of the reviews. I spent about $50 bucks in this place just to receive a cheeseburger with some sections of the patty raw. The fries raw and overly greasy. The chicken was raw too. I’m sorry but this experience was horrible and waste of my money. I will never eat here again.
this place is the best. portions are huge, the bread they serve is outstanding, meals are as good as homemade and if you have a sweet tooth... desserts are a mix of authentic traditional sweets and typical American desserts too.
