Ordered the jerk dinner with collard greens, yams, beans with rice, and don't forget their tangy, yet spicy, sauce. The order included a whole chicken. The meat was fresh, soft and tender. Just the way mother cooked at home. I sent coworkers which responded the same way. Keep up the good work!
The past few times I have come have been great considering I took a two year break after several poor past experiences. The customer service use to be terrible. Like unbearable. Now whoever they have working the counter/phones is friendly and doesn’t have an attitude. Food is correct, cooked in a timely fashion, and ready when I come to pick it up.

My chicken is not all the way cooked and this rice is hard as hell. Seriously this she that the workers don’t gaf about the business nor the customers. I been calling for 2 hours no answer. I want a refund . This used to be my favorite place. Now I’m never going again !!!!!
First... I have been here at least three or four times and I can say the first three times was good. This last time because I have to say it's the final was disappointing. The service is horrible. The person who answers the phone to take my order put me on hold which is understandable but when you get back on the phone you don't tell me to hold again and have a conversation with someone else and curse at the same time. That is completely unprofessional! Second, the food still flavorful but what was upsetting is I ordered three catfish jerk dinner and it was very small pieces of catfish as well as they only put three spoonfuls of rice. So whoever was doing it got really skimpy and did not put a nice amount like they usually do it wasn't worth $18 maybe 10 not 18 dollars very disappointing I will not be returning.
This is my first time ordering from this establishment. I previously tried someone else’s order and I thought it was delicious. However when I ordered the turkey tips it wasn’t that. At first I thought maybe they cut it different than what I seen before. Piece after piece nothing but bone. Never have I ever had turkey tips that had bones. I believe that this may actually be oxtails. I personally won’t ever be back here. Candied yams and peach cobbler is very delicious.
This the worst place I ever been to 30 dollars down the drain i got dark meat know rice and beans large Mac and cheese 4 extra wings which I’m glad I did because it look like somebody eat it before they packed it I thought I order from the other jerk spot on 102nd and halsted which the food was amazing and cheaper me trying to do the right thing smh walked back to the place I ordered from waited over 20 minutes running late for work pictures below called them the lady say check my food before I leave know it should’ve been packed correctly all was said she was I’m sorry born in raised in the 100’s I will never in my life order nothing from them and I’m telling everyone I know not go there don’t even deserve 1 star I guess Ill eat the 4 wings and Mac and cabbage 6 more hours to go?
The chicken was good, cabbage was ok, however the large rice and peas was all not fully cooked rice with some gravy that tasted like it came from a can and no more than 12 peas. Really??!! We waited a full hour for this only to have no jerk sauce and no bread. First and last time.
Bad business oxtail and high price with beginner cook taste white rice when I ask for rice and pea gravy like water containers cracked open
