The meat pies here are so so tasty! My husband and I love going here to get them. The jerk chicken and cheesy beef are my favorite. They are reasonably priced and we get 2 each for a quick lunch or dinner.

I'm such a fan of Caribbean American and as a Jamaican the customer service isn't that bad, Americans are just used to people babying/placating to them and that's just not our culture. I've been going there for a year since I moved to Chicago and look forward to it everytime. I've gone twice this month and yesterday the patty and Coco bread??!!! Flakey and cheesier than usual, the Coco bread was soft and buttery 10/10!

The patties are ok, but the customer services is the worst. I have had two different people serve me, one older woman and a younger one, very rude. I probably will never go back there again.

Im from Jamaica I came here cause they website said they had buns and patty. When I got to the store they had no bun, I ordered 2 chicken patty and a cocoa bread but the cashier/ server gave me two cocoa bread instead of one ok. He put both Pattie’s in the same brown bag , so I told him nicely to put the Pattie’s in separate bag because they are for two different ppl he gave me a look .. ok then, for a bakery the patty sucked, the patty shell crumbles differently and it did not taste like authentic Jamaican patty they need to work on that, golden krust fresh baked patty tasted better even golden krust frozen patty taste way better than this place. Never going back here wasted my money.

I recently tried them, we ordered the jerk chicken Patties. They were dry and barely had any filling, maybe we went on a bad day. I was very disappointed.

Best beef patties I've found in Chicago. Delicious. Good pastries/dessert breads too. Need to try the jerk dinners.

I had been craving Jamaican patties and found this place on line. The reviews were great so, we drove 45 minutes each way to hopefully get a taste of authentic patties.VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least!!!The veggie patty was tasteless, the spinach patty was just fair and the beef patty not only had two totally different crusts, but the meat was not great quality. On to the next placed.

I was having a dinner party & called a month prior to order for 6 dozen mini beef patties. The gentleman told me it was too early to place the order. He told me “anything could happen in that time.” I laughed & made mental note to call back in 2 weeks. When I did that, once again this gentleman told me it was too early to place the order. At this point I’m wondering…do they want the business, or not?! I called back 5 days prior to my event. Left message, received call back from 847- phone num. I was finally able to place my order! To be picked up at 11:30. When I arrived, the staff had no idea what I was talking about!!! They said I would have to speak with the owner, who wasn’t there! WTH!!! What kind of business is this??? Lesson Learned!I’ve called 3 times since, to speak with owner, who was probably the gentleman who continued to push my order date back… to not fulfill. HORRIBLE!?

I literally grew up going here. My grandfather is well known at this bakery, so when my brother and I were kids, we would be running around the place, (sometimes helping haha).Their food is absolutely outstanding and the patties are to die for. 10 out of 10 DO recommend stopping by here, or becoming a regular if you have the time ?

Love this place. Put more cheese in the patties! I want to actually see the cheese goey and all
