We had a very weird experience here. We tried to order flat white, but they had no idea what it was, acted extremely surprised, and looked at us like we were crazy (probably they assumed that we were asking for something alien because we have an accent). I told them it was a latte with an additional espresso shot, but they said they only had regular latte to which I said OK. Then, they tried to sell us two espresso! I kept repeating “latte latte latte”! How hard is it to understand a mild accent? It is not even an English word! And they kept behaving like they were annoyed. Sheesh. I do not care what they sell tastes like, terrible behavior.

Love this place. Excellent breakfast burrito, quesadilla and grilled cheese. Coffee is also great. Was there yesterday and ordered a grilled cheese. I decided to add chorizo after I had already paid. The staff was gracious enough to add the chorizo for free without me having to make another transaction. Great people and service. Thank you.

I don't live far from here by car or bike, so it's one of my favorite cafes to stop at. Excellent coffee and food. (I'm a vegetarian, well, a pescatarian, and I've enjoyed everything I've eaten, including the lox sandwich. So good!) I buy my coffee beans here from time to time, and they're always fresh.I love the feel of the inside, and the baristas are efficient and polite. The cafe has outdoor seating, too, which my friends and I used gratefully during the first part of the pandemic. This is a neighborhood coffee shop to support. ??

I came here after visiting the garden center down the street, and it was a cute spot, but the coffee I got (just a regular drip coffee) was flavorless and watered-down. Perhaps a lightly weight batch? The cheddar scone was AMAZING though. So ultimately, I was happy when leaving.

I come in frequently before work, and most of the time the service is fine. But sometimes, it is just terrible.I came in this morning and ordered an idea tea. Went to the bathroom and when I came back out, my drink wasn't on the bar. A few more customers came in, and I felt as if the barista was ignoring me, never looking over as I stood there. After five minutes I just left, without my beverage—watching everyone else get served after me just made me not want to be in there. I'll never waste another dime here. I'd rather just go to Dunkin where the baristas actually acknowledge me, know me, and my drink.

Had a fabulous experience working from here on a Monday morning. What a delicious breakfast burrito! Service was quick and kind. And the 90s pop playlist was just the right thing.

I can't say enough about this hidden gem in downtown Elgin. They have a unique Mexican food menu that fills your appetite and you will want more. Ana, Freddy and Urial really take care of you.

I had some time to kill in Chicago, I popped into this place because of the good reviews. My latte was great, and my chorizo omelette was amazing. I would highly recommend this place

Love their food, especially the breakfast burrito! As others have said, it’s pricey, so it’s only in our “every now and then” rotation.Nice ambiance, very chill, awesome art!!

Great spot for breakfast burritos. Ordered with chorizo and the salsa they give is a great compliment.
