The staff was friendly and kind. The environment was pretty clean. I'm not sure if they wipe the tables after every person. Decided to try out the restaurant because I'm naturally from the Humboldt Park area ?? and never seen a boricua restaurant out in the area.I order a drink and a sandwich (roughly around 15). The sauce of the rice caught me off guard because boricuas don't typically do spicy food. It was interesting however. I ordered my sandwich with no onions and half way I saw it that there was onions tucked (inside if the folded meat) hidden. Not a fan of that. My food was warm while the other person's was hot. Overall it was pretty decent it if I had to be honest.
It's great the food has tropical flavor and the coffee is the best in the south..
Love love love this cafe ,so graceful and feels like paradise sorta like a home away from home ?❤️ the owner is very nice and super friendly. Very welcoming . Faithfulness flows ,god's presence is in this cafe . Don't let me get started on the food ,oh my the food is super delicious sweet and overall filling food there is a must have !
Great family owned hot spot where you can get to know the the owner, Juan, and his sons who help him out. Really sweet people who chat with everyone who walks in, serving great food straight from their Puerto Rican heritage, with a wholesome Christian atmosphere that wants to love on everyone there. I will definitely be returning, Sebastián ? Great library of books in the bookstore, great drinks, with an upstairs that contains even more books ? Come often!
Love, Loove, LOVEEEE their smoothies and food. Owner so kind and sweet! This place is a nice spot to get away and just chill after a stressful day at work!
An oasis, a real treasure. You almost feel cleansed by all the Christian books surrounding you. The guava pastry was excellent as was the Nutella latte. A wonderful second level with a couch. I was envious of the young couple on it. Parking is tight, and must use alley
Love this spot. The atmosphere here is so relaxing and the food soooo good. The employees are really nice here. I am glad a small cozy coffee spot can be found in the neighborhood. Will continue to come to this spot.
SO delicious!! You must try the pina coladas and el meson sandwich. Service is very warm-welcoming and friendly. This is a beautiful business serving the community. Love to see a Christian based cafe in Brighton park! ??
Omg!!! I can’t believe I’ve never been here until today! Ahhh, I just ate the Wepa sandwich and it was ????so good! The smoothie was really good as well!! Staff was very kind, they have a cute space! I’ll definitely be back!
This is a staple to the neighborhood. The owner is so kind and is always there. This place has great food! Cuban sandwich is good and the empanadas were amazing!! I got the mango refresco and it was perfect! I’ll continue coming back here
