Love coming here because the food is always delicious and people are super nice! Plus they have pastelitos/pastries.

I understand the demand in their loaf bread but it does not fail that everytime I try to order there is never a call back. As stated on thier website and telephone message to leave information 2 days prior, but yet no has called ,now Im out here looking for 4 loafs of bread for a company meeting.Just a bit disappointed.

This place is great. The coffee is delicious and so are the pastries. They are efficient and always nice. Easy parking, too, which is nice.

Took my then girlfriend on our 1st date, May 17, 2014. Today we are married 8yrs and the memory of our 1st date there and then a walk in Humbolt Park is a sweet memory.

Awesome selection of delicious pastries. Been coming here since I was a kid. The cappuccinos are phenomenal! My go to is a pastelillo de guayaba con queso, but all of the pasties are really good. I was a little disappointed with the quesito. It's a different filling than they used to do, but it was still very tasty. That sandwiches are always really good. Great place for a quick breakfast, coffee break, or lunch.

This place is amazing. I'm addicted to the guayaba cream muffins and the pastelillo guayaba and cream. There's also nice outdoor dining as well as indoor dining. Their prices are very reasonable for the incredibly yummy pastries they offer.

First time trying this place. I loved their food and their maracuya lemonade drink. I took some appetizers home which I was so happy i did. Service was very good seems like it gets super busy, but worth the wait. Mia the cashier/server was very friendly and attentive with not just us but everyone else. I will definitely come back soon for more.

The place was alright. The coffee was not very good. Super friendly staff though. The sad witches I saw other customers eating looked great. I’ll likely go back to try the sandwiches.

Amazing local small business that makes and sells great Puerto Rican baked items and sandwiches. Always come by on my trips to Chicago. Worth the visit!

Cafe Colao is a landmark of the neighborhood, serving very well made food with amazing service. Try the avena de coco (coconut oatmeal) it’s great!
