We went there for a birthday brunch. It was the most amazing experience from start to finish. We knew nothing about Serbian food, so Anna our hostess took the time to explain the various dishes, combinations, sauces, and pairings. The food was delicious! But the best part of the meal was the genuine hospitality. We felt like we were eating a home cooked meal served by caring and professional people who were invested in making us feel good. Do visit if you are in the neighborhood.
Great Serbian cafe! I was very happy to find this place. My server, (Serbian name for Becky, sorry I would butcher the spelling) was so nice and provided a suggestion for the beef burek. So good! Very filling and tasty. 5 stars for the food, service, and vibe. Will come back
I have been a regular of this reataurant, and I usually stop here when I run errands nearby. Good food, good place overall, but I just paid $8 for a regular cabbage salad which I asked as a side of pork schnitzel. Extremely high price for a cabbage salad, will never order it again. I mean, $11 for the pork schnitzel, and $8 for the cabbage salad? ?.

Great place. Food is delicious. People are really nice. You pick up to go orders from the market side and they tempt you with all the delicious sweets and meats and other goods they have stocked. Ask the cashier for one thing you should sample that you like - sweets, beer, liquor, cooked stuff, whatever. You won’t be disappointed. Come back often and keep them around.

Great environment, the waitress I had was kind, and also funny. She new the menu well and recommended great foods. Would definitely visit again. Be sure to try the Liquor it doesn't disappoint.
Love this place. Their burek is excellent, and their prices are low enough that I prefer meeting friends here instead of other restaurants in the area. This is the kind of place where you can easily spend 3-4 hours chatting with a friend, and you won't be shooed out. The waitstaff only check on the table every half hour or so, which I prefer. It doesn't interrupt the conversation. The atmosphere is relaxed and loungy.
I adore this cafe with all of my heart. I had their Serbian bean soup and my mouth waters even remembering it- the flavor! Their desserts are also incredible, each one looking more appetizing than the last. Being connected to a small market is also a very nice touch and overall it is a great place to go for meetings, fun dates or to just enjoy a good time with good food. The staff are also the absolute sweetest. My waitress was not afraid to recommend me different foods and show me them as well to ensure I would be eating the best meal for me. Definitely worth the price and is a must try.
