I think this place was great! Was a little concerned when I saw it wasn't busy, but I think people are just not aware of this place. Food was good, on par with most GOOD Chicago breakfast spots. Loved the coffee! Also, waitress kept our cups full ? Bacon, sausage, pancakes and eggs were cooked just right. Food not too salty like some places, seasoned just right. Great people running the place. Also, I would say prices are mid-range not cheap eats as posted on Google. Will be back again!
Took my grandsons, great food.Owner Dale is always so welcoming.Kathy our waitress was amazing & patient since we had a 2 year old.Live in the neighborhood.We will be back!!
My wife and I got a late start on a Sunday morning and we're able to be seated at a table at Cafe 63 without having to wait, staff was quick, the host was personable and the food was great and the portions were nice.We will be going back.
Was our first time there today and we paid good money for Cor beef dinners and it was a total big let down. The worst we ever had. Might give u another try but this was horrible
the best Split Pea Soup in the city. friendly staff and always welcoming. plenty of street parking and opens at 7am. highly recommended.

I just left this place. Ordered to go. Ordered 2 chopped steak meals. The hash browns are extremely bland no seasoning. Cooking is inconsistent some parts are still raw. They literally took half a steak chopped it into 12 tiny pieces, then they put six pieces in one order and six in the other. Pieces are smaller than a quarter. Eggs are bland no flavor no seasoning. First and definitely the last time. 40 dollars gone to waste. I should have went to McDonald's and got the steak and egg bagel meal for 5 dollars. Dont waste your time.
