Beer Bar Pizza

Great pizza. If you like real old world style pizza. Crispy, slightly charred crust with fresh toppings. Good selection of craft beers ( they are a brewery, so all is good )

Won't be back.Showed up at 1130 with w 2 kids, they said it's 35 min for a pizza. No pizza on our table 1 hour after ordering. "Your pizza is up next" says the waiter. Fine, it takes over an hour.. to make a thin crust pizza... At a PIZZA and beer restaurant? I've made better pizza with my ooni oven in my back yard in 1/10th of the time. Then you ask my family to move for a birthday party when you haven't even gotten us our food that we ordered over an hour ago?... To top it off, "mandatory 20% tip" for that awful/slow service? A tip, per google.com is "a sum of money as a way of rewarding them for their services." How is rewarding yourself 20% for bad service reasonable? Plus a "mandatory 7.5% dine in" fee. Please just charge a fair price for your food so you can pay your employees a fair wage. Or if you're going to have policies like this, be transparent up front and don't spring it on your customers at the end of a meal that takes over and hour to get. Behavior like this is off-putting. Also, had 2 different beers and a cocktail (...while waiting for >1 hr to get our thin crust pizza).. All drinks were "meh" at best. Pizza was excellent, but not worth waiting that long for.

Best place in Chicago - combination brewery, restaurant, coffee shop, bakery, farmers market with live music Sundays (during the summer) and some of the best pizza in the city. Went here with my toddler 3 times a week during the summer for lunch and groceries and coffee. Everyone is super friendly, you'll probably meet the owners most days, and the greenhouse smells amazing in the winter. Please make the Milk Eyed Mender again!

I have to admit, I'm not usually the biggest fan of the more liberal, hipstery places in Chicago, but this place hits every mark. Extremely fast and efficient ordering system, superb bread and butter apps (no really, you need to order this. I'm considering flying my southern, Texas-Roadhouse-loving mother up just to compare, and it wouldn't be a long debate). And the pizza... oh my God. It's like a neopolitan style but on a rich, flavorful, slightly sweet crust. Dave Portnoy might go against his first principles and push this one into the 9s, particularly if he were to come when they have their smoked pizzas on the menu. And beyond all this, their house-brewed beers are exceptional. 5/5 experience, highly recommend.

Rarely do you find a restaurant that consistently does a fantastic job with the food and service. We first went for breakfast and shared two pizzas between two people. The potato and leek cream pizza is a flavour you do not expect to get from pizza and I highly recommend it for its balanced flavours and textures. The star of the show of course is the dough. On another occasion, we went back for dinner with friends and ordered the fresh bread (with cultured butter and fermented cheese spread) to start and it was divine. The staff is incredibly attentive and thoughtful – they knew exactly what dishes we needed to stay away from because we had a guest with a severe nut allergy.

Their pizza is delicious! The potato and leek is my favorite. All ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. They have a nice selection of wine and beer too. Really helpful and accommodating staff and wonderful atmosphere overall.50% off (select) pizzas and $5 beer and wine from 3:30-6pm for happy hour.

I walked in on a Friday night, it wasn't too busy and we were seated right away after showing our vaccine cards. We chose to sit in their "outdoor" area, which was enclosed and heated so not cold even though it's mid January. The ordering is done on our phones by scanning a qr code on the table, you also can close and pay your tab on your phone too. Simple and quick! As for food, we ordered the "Soppressata + Hot Honey Pizza" between the two of us. It was sooo good and not too heavy. For drinks I got a hot toddy which was perfect for warming me up. I would definitely come by again, the vibes were cozy and the food was delicious ?

I love their bread and drive a long way to get it.

You must try the bread and butter. And the cinnamon bun. And the sandwiches. Friendly service, cool vibes, nice restaurant.

They use toasttab as the ordering system. Unlike having a waiter it’s diy and doesn’t add to the experience. The beer nd pizza was excellent though albeit expensive. Sit at the bar.
