Food was alright, but could have been better if they had asked us the level of spice we wanted to order. Food was tasteless, only thing worth trying was Mango Lassi.
On Sunday we 6 friends went to Bundoo Khan for a dinner whenever you are going to Bundoo Khan make sure you had to wait for at least 15-30 minutes for table. If you want to save your time order while you are waiting in waiting area so it couldn’t waste more time for you. Their taste is delicious and it’s the best restaurant in Chicago especially on Devon street. They had a variety of Pakistani cuisine. We ordered fries as a starter and then ordered highway’s chicken krahi, Chicken Tika, Behari boti and soft drinks. It’s expensive but yes taste is very good.
Amazing food!! Highly recommend! 10/10 service was fantastic
We had a really bad experience ordering from Bundo Khan today. We were tired from work and wanted to enjoy a nice meal at home so we ordered their smoked chicken karahi via uber eats. Firstly, the prices on ubereats are way more than their menu prices, secondly their portion size was not how it is when you dine in, thirdly the food was too salty and mushy. Karahi had no flavor other than saltiness.I can make a better Karahi at home. We literally ate just to fill our stomachs today. I'm sad and disappointed to have paid for a full meal and had 0 fun eating food from Bundo khan. I normally don't give bad reviews but this has been our second time with Bundo khan for disappointing us with bad food. Please don't do this to customers. We are paying to enjoy the quality of the food.
Ordered Kabab Platter, Highway Goat and Dry Chicken Karahi. Everything was amazing. Platter is must try.4 starts because the staffs were pretty annoying. We were group of 4 people and were waiting for 4th person to arrive before ordering. They kept asking if were ready for order. Same thing after we were done eating. As soon as we were done, they asked for check. They were not even busy. May be 15% occupancy.Overall good restaurant with lots of amazing dishes and flavors.
wonderful experience, we tried mixed grill karahi and biryani and everything was so flavourful. we were on a 4 day trip and had to go back on the last day to taste the grill again. Their poori paratha with malai boti and beef bihari is a killer combo.nice place, nice ambiance and really great service. im definately going back whenever im in Chicago .. for sure :)thank you Bundoo khan
Last time when we went there we ordered fries, biryani, chicken, palak, Philly cheese steak. We had no complains last time. This time, however, taste and quality was too bad. We ordered same biryani, fries, Philly cheese steak, bihari roll. Fries didn’t seem fresh. Biryani had chunks of dried rice and was too much salty. I wouldn’t want to go there again. My husband also noticed that Philly cheese steak tasted differently.
Food was awesome but the delivery of items was too delayed and took away from the experience.
First time trying this restaurant. Family atmosphere, friendly staff, and cleanliness were some of the pros. But the service was very slow. We ordered the family platter and extra chicken sheesh kabab. The family platter came with beef sheesh kabab, bihari kabab, malai boti (chicken), chicken tikka, and chicken sheesh kabab. We also ordered mango lassi. Food over all tasted good. Bihari kabab, malai boti, and chicken sheesh kabab are a must try. Chicken tikka also tasted good. However, it was undercooked. We sent it back and they put it back on the grill but it still wasn’t cooked through. The few bites we were able to try were full of flavor (spicy and tangy). Beef sheesh kabab were dry and flavorless. Mango lassi tasted like mango milkshake. I would not recommend the mango lassi or beef sheesh kabab. I would give this restaurant a second try.
Had delicious dinner tonight. Additionally ordered tons for carry out. The food was great and the staff very professional. Great service.
