Limited menu - a little pricey.
the chorizo and egg tacos were phenomenal and the bottomless mimosas were hitting. restaurant vibe was top notch. would definitely return
Things were pretty decent - what you would come to expect from a fast casual restaurant. No frills tacos - good stuff
Tacos are basic and simple at best especially for the price point (we tried a few different types of tacos carnitas, cauliflower, sheimp, etc but none did the job. Guac and chips was ok but its just guac and chips.)Great decor but food fell way short for such a nice place. Plenty of other better taco spots.
Will not be coming back. Made a reservation pn open table for 8 pm, yet they first told us last call for food was at8:15, which was weird because the restaurant was still full and we had not even gotten our drinks yet. By 8:30 they said it was last call for drinks and turned all the lights on and started cleaning tables. The restaurant was still full. They literally picked up our plates that still had food on it as we had gotten our order no more than 5 minutes before this time, and asked if they could box it. They made everyone uncomfortable starting at 8:40 essentially forcing all patrons out. I have never had a worse dinning experience in my life. How can you have an 8:00 pm reservation available on open table, yet kick your patrons out at 8:40. Also they have this terrible new ordering system that you order from your table and never have a server. It is beyond terrible. I have been a loyal customer ordering or going 2-3 times a month since 2019. I will not be coming back and will be posting this review on multiple sites because it was that terrible. Management should be fired.
Not as good as the downtown location. Drinks weren't mixed well and food was nothing special.
Brian is the man! Took great care of us. Fast service and great food
The service was AWFUL. The website says the restaurant closes at 9:00pm. We got there at 7:00pm (our reservation time) and they told us the kitchen closed at 7:30. Okay, that’s early but not unreasonable. At 8pm they had the lights up and music off. At 8:15 they started blasting the A/C to get people out. Nobody told us the restaurant would close early or what time it would close. Nobody kicked us out. They did closing actions without communicating with the guests about anything.
I do not recommend going for dinner as they have become incredibly strict and borderline unwelcoming when they near closing time. We went for dinner on a Sunday and selected their latest available time slot on OpenTable, which was 7:30pm. I was called by a hostess just before 6pm to be told that last call for food and drink was at 7:30pm, so we would have to move our reservation up to 7pm or cancel our reservation. Thankfully we were able to accommodate this last minute change and went at 7pm. When it was exactly 7:30pm they turned the lights on brighter like we were at some bar at 1am. And at 8pm they turned the music off and began turning off the TVs, while we were in the middle of our meal. This is an entire hour before their listed closing time of 9pm and they were actually quite busy. I could understand if this happened 10-15 minutes before closing and we were one of a few tables left. Overall, it really killed the mood, it felt really rude and like we were being kicked out. We have been going there for years as it's been a neighborhood favorite, but no thanks. We all felt really unappreciated and we don't plan on going back.
Delicious chicken tacos, both types on their menu are great. The server Tania and the manager both took great care of us, we loved the experience. Will be back anytime we are in the city!
