Eh .... Food is mediocre honestly. I'm paying almost $30 for a full slab of Ribs, fries and drink. The only thing they did is cook those raw ribs w salt and add BBQ sauce. No type of real seasonings really added. No garlic no nothing. And the beef is dry and not tender. The ribs from portillos are way better and cheaper than here. This place may not be terrible but I doubt you'd come here because omg the food is amazing. You stop here out of necessity and convenience.
I don’t care much for Boilers, it doesn’t wow me. But I come here every now and then to bring my buddy who is special needs. He likes Boilers. So we come here, he places his order and is about to pay when the gentleman at the counter then asks if we are vaccinated. We both are, then he asks for vaccination cards. My buddy didn’t have his on him, so we were refused service to dine it.That’s their business if they want to treat people like this and follow crook counties rules. I’m vaccinated and boosted but to ask people for vaccination cards is ridiculous.I refuse to support a business who supports These mandates.They had no issues not wearing masks and opening up more booths when Chicago allowed it. It’s all a big joke.

I moved to California 15 years ago and I still haven’t tasted a chicken breast burger that beats this place.. I’d come to this place as a kid every time I saved enough food to buy for myself and my siblings.. I really wish the day I go back it’s open
I went here and ordered a Chicken breast sandwich with fries and drink. The special stated 10.50. I asked the man taking the order any tax? He said no, I gave him a twenty dollar bill he gave me back 9.50. So I return the next day to order a Gyros special and he rings up and says 12.00 something. I then stated you did not charge tax yesterday. I ended up going to Mr. Zees twice since then.
Decent food made fresh at a fair price.
