Cant speak on everyone's reviews but for my experience I had great tasting bacon, egg and cheddar sandwich.Staff was friendly and quick.
Just another disappointing Chicago bagel shop. Bacon egg and cheese.. It’s basically a scrambled egg sandwich without any flavor, and a hint of burnt bread. If you are visiting from new york / Philly (or from there and live here now..) and looking for something remotely comparable (they aren’t here), this definitely is not the spot. Save yourself 10 bucks and go to DD.Room temp bitter “iced coffee” to top it off.The search continues for anything that resembles a real bagel sandwich in this town!
Bro bagel you must do better with sanitary ? today I went to get me a breakfast sandwich as usual and the young man with the dread locks didn’t have any gloves on while making making sandwich and Covid is very much real I don’t appreciate that because this is my second time seeing him work with no gloves n his hair is down hair is easily to go in my food. Who ever the manager is needs to get on top of that ASAP before I give the Illinois health inspector a call to check that place out.
I walked up to the Brobagel window at 10:15AM on Sunday April 10, 2022. I waited in a line of 4 people to order, with about 6 other people waiting for their food orders. I ordered an egg and bacon sandwich on an everything bagel, no cheese. I paid over $10 for the sandwich, including tax.I waited over 45 minutes for that sandwich. 45 minutes. Egg and bacon sandwich. The sandwich tasted good, but I consider Brobagel a place that delivers absolutely terrible value when considering the amount of time it takes to place an order and get food.
While in town visiting my daughter had a taste for a bagel and cream cheese. She mentioned this place always has a line, a clear indication it must be good. Selected everything bagel with chive cream cheese. Very tasty, cost is about $4 something per bagel. I would definitely return the next time we visit
Agree with some of the other reviews. The quality has really gone down. Barely any cream cheese on this pretty expensive bagel. Often times the bagels are extremely hard although today I admit the bagel itself had a great crust and soft inside so that’s at least good. Overall not really worth it anymore.
Best thing is the Pesto Cream cheese, other than that this place was great a few years ago but really fell off due to the lack of choices and hours. The lady that used to work there was great. We miss her.
This is my first review ever and let’s just say that it’s not because I had a great experience. Here’s my list of issues that I’ve noticed over the past year…1) crowd management is atrocious - there is always a line down the block due to the slow checkout process (physically signing a receipt for a purchase less than $10)2) the bagels are horrible. Maybe I’m used to top quality New York bagels but these are very tough to get through as they are overdone every time I go.3) everything is overpriced considering the poor quality… $4.75 for a bagel with cream cheese!Very upset with the service today in particular as I waiting in line for 5 minutes just to be told there is only Plain and poppy seed bagels left… put up a sign or make more bagels! For Pete’s sake… what kind of bagel place runs out of bagels??
This is one exceptional Bagel shop! Their bagels are top quality, with many tasty recipes outside of just your basic cream cheeses. My favorite is the Nova Lox on an everything bagel that has salmon, capers, tomatoes, onion, and cream cheese. So delicious and so filling!
Had the bacon, egg and cheese on a everything bagel. Was expecting it to come out hot as I waited for it in small waiting area after ordering. The sandwich was room temperature. Not a bad sandwich at all I probably could just had it on a plain bagel thou. Got it with a lemonade which was great. Will try again to try something else, but I wasn't blown away with the sandwich.
