The coffee is good. The food is good. Outdoor patio is nice. It's a neighborhood coffee shop that doesn't have the neighborhood feel. I try to connect with the people who work here and it's like talking to cardboard. Not friendly at all.
Great lattes, great breakfast tortas, & AMAZING pastriesLove the outdoor seating to work remotely
While I love both Brew Brew locations, Avondale has my heart. The owners are awesome siblings and the lattes are crafted with love. My favorites are Lavender matcha or latte, Rose Cardamom matcha or latte, Cafe Miel (delicious latte with honey, nutmeg and cinnamon) and the Grasshopper (a seasonal pistachio flavored latte). Honestly, you can’t go wrong with whatever you decide. The seasonal lattes are always amazing. They’ve also added food over the years. The Baja Sunrise is vegan-ish and delish! My husband love the Oaxacan Horchata latte which has cantaloupe and vanilla flavors. Brew Brew is so worth the visit!
Came here on a Saturday night with a group of 5 people after eating dinner to grab a quick late night energy boost prior to going to Angel City.I really enjoyed the coffee and definitely would love to come back. I'd say it seems like a solid place to study or just come and enjoy the vibe. The service was okay and the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. I heard they sell their coffee beans at whole foods too, so I'll have to go pick up a bag if I'm not able to make it back soon.
Delicious and unique specialty drinks and some exceptional baked goods to boot. It’s nice that they also sell some supplies like coffee filters and beans. Great neighborhood shop.
A nice little Cafe that has a nice choice of drinks. When there I had a coffee, a nice almond pastry, and a veggie torta. The employees gave great service when there. A good stop if you want some coffee and a small meal.
Just moved to the area and already this is my weekly pick-me-up; delicious lattes, excellent tortas (and bagels, and pastries, and mugs, and everything really) and I’ve even purchased some coffee beans from them, too. The baristas there are (obviously) great at their jobs and chill/mellow; it’s a great place to pitstop for a small linch, grab a hot latte, and crank some work out.
I've been ordering here for a long time and this is the first. Very disappointed how much this place has change, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a bagle and lox and a medium Aztec mocha, which normally does not take more than 10 minutes. My whole lunch break wated ordering this, and there wasn't anyone here but me. Very disappointed.
It was my first time here. I went because my friend wanted to go. I was not expecting much but omg! I love it here. They had tiramisu latte!! I always wanted to try it! Both the barista and the cashier were super friendly and helpful. They helped my friend choose her tea and she loved it. They checked on us several times which felt welcoming. The place itself isn't too big but very cozy and nice. I would definitely go back here!!!
Great coffee, they do espresso drinks very well here. Actually, they do most things well here. Their specialty lattes, pastry selection, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, decor, service, and single origin coffee bags are all top notch.
