Getting a steak sandwich and fries at Brandy's is like putting on a pair of well broken in sneakers for me. During lockdown my wife asked me what the first meal out I was going to have when it was over and I immediately said the ribeye steak sandwich meal deal at Brandy's. It's not haute cuisine but it's what I like and I hope it will always be there when I want it.
Excellent food and friendly service, I grew up in Chicago and now live in Miami. Always have a gyro when I come back to Chicago and of course I go to Brandy’s.
Definitely come here if you're looking for BIG portions. I got the chicken gyro dinner which was absolutely amazing especially accompanied by that honey mustard sauce. It also comes with a soup or salad. I could finish it! Food was great! Service was great! Definitely coming back for the chicken gyro.
so I ordered a 1/3lb cheeseburger no lettuce add bacon. there was no ketchup mayo on the burger and I got a half slice of bacon. WTF.
The food is alright. Not the first time trying out their food nor the only location that I've had food from here. They're consistent, but meh. Had their gyros, but its dry.
When you pull up 10 minutes before they close on a Wednesday night, you at least think they will still be open to sell you a hot dog as take out. But then to pull on the door and have the guy yell to you that they they are closed is a disappointment.I know what it is like to work in a restaurant and the last customer is the last guy you want to see, but here I was hungry for a fast take out.I have hung with you during covid and before that your other problems but you left me hungry when you should have been open.
The restaurant also knows how to make a wonderful pasta sauce! And the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
Nice place located right on the corner and descent food with an extensive menu; However, the prices are Wayy ti High I've never seen a gyro sandwich meal to be 12 dollars. Id rather go to Dengeos and have Gyro plate for 14 with better quality gyros.
Food was mediocre at best and WAY too expensive. I had wings and fries and a drink...about $20. Wings were small and dried.out. The Brandy's on Harlem is much better quality, for some reason
My favorite Greek restaurant hands down. Mike and the rest of the crew are just amazing most generous portions I’ve ever had at any restaurant, never disappoints!
