A must have! Great vibe in the restaurant and really friendly, efficient staff. The food was so fresh and delicious (especially the boxcar sandwich), will definitely be coming back!
I had a really tasty lunch today! It was my first time visiting Boxcar Betty's.I got The Betty with fried chicken, fries and peach coleslaw. The fries are hand cut and seasoned well. I am not a big fry fan, but these were really good. Some pieces were crispy and crunchy. The sandwich was really good. Thick cut pickles, a good size of breaded chicken, with pickles, lettuce and tomato. I will definitely visit this place again. There is available seating, but maybe about 10-12 seats.
In this age of high expectations for the venerable chicken sandwich, Boxcar Betty's delivers the goods.
This is the most delicious chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The environment is great, the menu is simple, and the taste is fantastic. Great honey mustard, great ranch, and even better fries. I have never left a review for any restaurant ever but the deliciousness of the food here was so moving and inspirational I had to. Please go here.
This is the best fried chicken sandwich that I have ever had (Boxcar sandwich). A group of us ate here based on the reviews while on vacation in SC and it was so good that we unanimously made sure to eat there again before the end of the vacation.

Delicious chicken sandwiches at Ogilvie. Staff is super friendly, chicken is tender and the breading is crumbly and tasty. Fries are good with generous portions. My fave is the not-waffle which has pimento cheese AND maple syrup. Cmon people. Five stars no questions asked.
We got take out from the new Boxcar Betty’s on North Ave. Great sandwiches, ready quickly. Highly recommend! ?
