It was very good. I went with a few friends two of them know Puerto Rican food very well, because they are Puerto Rican. So they ordered a bunch of stuff I've never heard of before. And they said it was good but not great. Our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed, and not overly nice. But over all I would go back, I liked every I tried.
Read the reviews so decided to try them out. I do not know what everyone was talking about because this was some of the worst Puerto Rican food I have ever tried. Lacking much flavor. P.R. rice had no flavor and the habichuela did not either. Perhaps they changed cooks or were having an off day but I drove from Indiana and would not recommend.
Absolutely delicious food from the original cook of Borinquen!!! Still the best around. Atmosphere is amazing and the oil paintings artwork and Taino symbols and colors make it feel like we’re in San Juan. We will definitely be returning. Well done!!
I haven’t been able to come to this my favorite place to eat authentic Puerto Rico taste. Glad to be back mandatory mondays Best Restaurant Carne frita and steak jibarito on fire the salsa jibara no words to describe. The location on western no other else better than this one. Drinks on point great,fast and friendly service ???

This was my first time eating here. The food was good, but I’m not sure if I had onions on my steak sandwich, it usually has onions.
The food is so good! I have been twice thus far and had the jibarito sandwich and the stuffed plantains (chicken). It was all delicious:) and the staff were all friendly and attentive:)
Gives me a Mom and Pop shop sorta feel, when you enter. They seem like they host some sort of live music, which I can imagine would be enjoyable. The ladies who attended to me were very warm and kind and the food was tasty. They lose a star because I placed my order online, and still had to wait about 10 additional minutes once I arrived.
The food is all prepared in the kitchen by a very talented Puerto Rican family and all made from scratch.
