We got beef bowls and they were... very strange. The food was incredibly sweet. The sauce, the beef, the kimchi; everything tasted very sugary, as if all the ingredients had been candied. We strive to never waste food, but neither of us could eat more than a few bites. Very disappointing, particularly because we'd had it delivered, so it was more expensive.
I cannot believe it. I just recently discovered this place and I literally wish that I had known about it sooner. I really regret not knowing about it sooner, because the food was absolutely delicious. They have a nice but not a wide selection on their menu. I wanted their signature burger, so I ordered their kimchi burger and got cheese fries for sides.There was a short wait because the food was made to order, and it was nice because the food was fresh and hot when it was finally served. I did not really expect that the burger would be that huge, so I was really happy. The burger was really delicious, even at first glance when it was served. I was kind of curious about their kimchi burger, which is the main reason why I ordered it, and I am glad I was curious because the kimchi burger tastes really good. The patty is well-seasoned, it is also juicy, and the veggies in it taste fresh, but what makes it stand out is definitely the caramelized kimchi and the kimchi mayo. That really gives a delicious flavor to the burger.The cheese fries were also good. The fries have a generous serving and the cheese tastes perfect.The service overall is great. The food was served quickly and the staff were really very nice and welcoming.As for the atmosphere and vibe, I can just simply say that it was fine because the restaurant is clean and spotless, it has a nice interior, and it just feels nice and comfortable inside.Highly recommended Korean restaurant!
Food was good! The woman at the counter got easily frustrated by other customers and was talking about them with the other cooks which wasn't a great look. City of Chicago lifted mask mandates so no one was wearing a mask that worked there.
Food is great!! The only issue if placing an order is there is no way to contact the restaurant. It's an automated phone number and I couldn't adjust my order (not a substitution but a packing request) and there is no way to reach out. Even on Uber you can't leave comments.
bulgogi rice bowl. 3/5 lacking veggies (served with only rice and some lettuce) meat was not very flavorful and texture was a bit off. Reminded me of generic low grade taco meat. Kimchi was pretty good though.
Usually don’t make reviews but this place is somewhere i usually go for a decent burger but the customer service is lacking recently. Came in for a BNG burger and bacon cheese fries to go then as I arrive home and begin eating i realize both containers are fries I try to call but their number is a a recording. I went back to the restaurant told them and the worker knew exactly what burger I was missing I get a new one and now I see the burger still not made right. From the moment i came back i should’ve been given something complimentary but instead I still got a wrong order.
F*cking incredible. Ordered delivery through Uber eats and somehow the fries were still very good? I can only imagine how good they are not having to sit through delivery. Also got KBBG and Bulgogib bowls, both delicious. I used to live a lot closer to this location and I'm devastated that I never are from here until now.
