The pastry is out of this world...True French pastry in Chicago.UN JOYAU POUR LA VILLE DE CHICAGO.

I was charged 14 dollars for a sandwich that was delivered cold and in a ziploc bag. It didn’t taste bad, but it couldn’t have cost more than 3 dollars to make. The employee at the cash register was trying to push these pre-made sandwiches, saying the staff in the back was super busy and anything else was gojng to take a really long time to make. I accepted it supposing it would at least be warmed up and definitely that it would cost at most half of that (the price for it wasn’t displayed anywhere). They just took it out of the display fridge and rang me up.

Great neighborhood bakery and coffee shop. Good options for everyone in the group. Counter service and some seating outside.Vegetarian options: Some great options for vegetarians

June 3, 2022I ordered a latte. There was a mixup about the size, but the latte itself tasted great, a traditional espresso drink.Note: they have aligned with the American standard of 12 ounce minimum size for lattes and cappuccinos, and I didn’t see signs of any 8 ounce cups. I also didn’t see a flat white on the menu, which is sometimes a backdoor way of creating an 8 ounce option. They ask had a tasty full of tasty looking baked goods as you would expect of a French themed bakery. And the people behind the counter even speak French-accented English!

when I came to the bakery I wanted some fresh croissants, after all, they are priced at $4.10 a piece. For a piece of bread. I asked the cashier when they were made just to know if they were freshly out of the oven. He got upset at me and said everything there is fresh and good. I ended up paying and getting one. I took myself to the park to enjoy it. I was disappointed. It was stale. I couldn’t even eat it and had to throw it away like my money. This isn’t worth it for the croissants. It’s better to go to Trader Joe’s and buy 4 of them frozen and bake them yourself.

We came here before the MOSAI as it was close by. Had two great breakfast sandwiches, made fresh by a lovely Frenchman. Polite service and great food. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relatively quick but tasty meal at a good price.

On paper this is a great place - a French style café with outdoor seating in a plaza. There are exciting options for food and drink. They have savory and sweet items on the menu. However, the taste doesn't quite live up to the expectations. It's not bad at all, but it's just shy of what you would expect.

The service was good and the croissants were great!

Fresh croissants, great service, and a cozy place. ?♥️I recommend ordering the apple, almond, the classic plane croissants. There’s a nice seating area outside with holiday vibes, you can enjoy your hot cup of coffee with a freshly baked croissant while listening to French music. ?

The best coffee in the area, great pastries!
