We celebrated our anniversary here and had a fantastic time. We tried the tasting menu and had the wine pairing. The food was unbelievable and the wine was fantastic. Each wine was one we had never had or heard of and they were just fantastic!!
The food and service was fantastic with the tasting menu. I recommend asking to be seated in the terrace as the main dining room includes the bar area which can become quite noisy.
Ordered the duck and the braised short. Both were the best of each I've ever had. Wonderful flavors. I also ordered the passionfruit soda, which mightve been the best drink I've ever had. The only thing that could've made the experience better would be a change in lighting, which should be a bit brighter during night time. Will be going back for sure.

We had the 7 course tasting menu. The staff was VERY knowledgeable, food was fantastic and the night was excellent.
Food was amazing except for the Hokkaido scallop (too salty!) and the Japanese cheesecake (I wanted more cake and less coconut foam). The foie toast, the gnocchi and the halibut were my favorite! Servers were so nice and sweet! I canât remember their names (a big guy and another one from Mexico City). The restaurant is beautiful but having the ac and fans on at the same time had me very cold all night (not fun), however, I will go back!

Excellent service, beautiful food presentation, food was a bit meh for the price. Food lacked flavor and taste appeal. I wish the food quality matched the beauty of the presentation and the level of service and ambiance.
Rather disappointed with Boka. Did extensive research in finding restaurants to enjoy on my trip to Chicago, including Chef Grant's list of places to eat. The service was slow. The courses did not come out with great timing. The dishes were sub-par and salty. It didn't feel as special as other one Michelin stars. We both got the chef's tasting and a $100 bottle of wine and really wish we ate elsewhere after spending the amount we did. Yikes!!
