I went in yesterday and the guy in front was really helpful and very nice to deal with. I am in the service industry and that guy is great (The extra star is for you, man).However, I am seeing more and more reviews on the quality of the chicken....My chicken looked purple/pink and in some areas brown/black. That is not what you want to see when ordering a chicken sandwich. Sides were delicious.This place has so much potential. The vibes are great, great staff - But the food really turned my stomach. I did not finish my buffalo chicken sandwich. I really wanted this to be my new spot, but it's hard to take a gamble on poultry being properly cooked.
This meal turned out to be the BEST char broiled bacon topped burger I've had in years. Burger I had was a double burger (must all come that way), which benefits by having 4 sides of char broil, made perfectly. Looking forward to seeing them again.
Food was delicious and affordable and a good neighborhood spot for a burger. My cocktail (Hello Good-Bi) was beautiful and the perfect compliment to my dinner.
Came in with a large party with really specific food allergies and the service was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone despite being inundated with ubereats orders which they also seemed to be taking care of in excellent fashion. I can’t recommend this place more - they’ve got a great atmosphere and great food. Pair that attentive and helpful staff and it gets an easy 5 stars from me.
Stopped in for brunch whilst visiting our son, he wanted to take us to Bluebird as he loves their food! Our son is not wrong! Excellent food. I was skeptical about going for a "burger" but this is not a burger joint! I ordered the Big Texas Juanita with duck fat fries - again a recommendation from our son. My husband ordered the Gunslinger (pork belly) with duck fat fries. Wow! The food was absolutely delicious! This is definitely a gem of a place!
We've spent a week in Chicago and stumbled in here. And proceeded to have the best dining experience of our trip. While using an app to order wasn't the best the rest was fantastic. The food was awesome, the servers were friendly and answered all questions about the wine and beer. Duck fat fries were tasty and fresh...the pork belly was amazing. Sandwiches a great size for lunch. Lots of great sauces. Food done really well. Nice atmosphere too. Great music, comfy seating, really clean. This place is a major highlight.
One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. I’ve been coming here since 2019. The food is absolutely heavenly, yet the prices are good for the amount of food you get.All and all this restaurant is a goldmine and the staff are impecable. You won’t regret to order here!
This place is fast becoming my go-to delivery spot. I’m working my way down the menu (though I have definitely ordered that bacon jam burger way more than once!) and everything is top notch. They will do your tastebuds right, and their burger blend is definitely one of the best (if not the best) in the city. I still have yet to visit the restaurant, but when I find myself in the neighborhood, I will definitely stop in- if it travels this well, it’s gotta be extra good fresh off the grill!
Best burger I've had in the city, and cooked medium. Not crazy expensive either, compared to other places. Mac and cheese is to die for also. Conveniently located too. Can't rave about this place enough, I'm in love!! Love love love these guys!! Thank you!
Tops my list of fav places to eat. The burgers and sandwiches are unbelievably good.The Gouda burger is to die for. Same with the Bluebird fried chicken . The Philly Cheesesteak is better than 99% of cheesesteak I've had in Philly. All mains are impressive. Unique quality and flavors??Sides are great but not on par with the main dishes. The curried chicken is my favorite, large portions. The Mac and cheese was ok. Salads at bluebird are the only items I don't recommend.Definitely coming back again and again. The staff put a lot of love and care into the food they prepare.
