We loved this fun breakfast spot! Very busy but I think it was only cause of st pattys weekend. It’s cash only- but worth the trip. Tons of breakfast drinks and good food options.
Neighborhood favorite and institution. Classic wlly known for Sunday BBQ and $1Buck Burger Mondays, the crowd is pretty diverse and warm. Great neighborhood pub. Large collection of LGBT art.
We were greeted by an aggressive female bartender asking for our ID (I'm 51 lol). We were told to grab a seat, check the menu, and return to the bar to place our order. Went back to the bar and waited for 10 minutes while the bartender helped other customers who were after us. We grabbed our stuff and exited. This was a recommendation from a friend who lives around the corner and our 1st visit. The whole experience was odd and we won't ever return. Don't recommend.
Love the food. The staff is always great. Our last visit was only for drinks and we met an amazing couple. Great night. Highly recommend this place .
Found this place when searching the web for a good place to have Eggs Benedict for a visitor from out of town. And so happy I did! We got there, and would have never expected what was hiding behind the Fassade. We were added to the waitlist, and were directed to the bar area while waiting for our table. The vibe is just amazing, and with a cocktail in hand we didn’t mind the wait at all. When seated, there was a little plate with two pieces of cake, and the food we ordered came quickly and was absolutely delicious. All staff was super nice and the Crowd was so diverse and fun. Even though the place was packed, you could keep a conversation and just enjoy. It will be our „go to have a fab breakfast“ place in the future again for sure!
Great food, great service, comfy vibe. We'll be back! We had a pretty long wait for brunch, but we were able to wait at a table in the bar with a nice selection of card and board games. No complaints.
My partner and I often find ourselves here for a few quiet drinks. Great atmosphere, a couple board games, not packed and not too loud.
Nice spot and good vibe put they don't play sports. Not sure why. I live in the area and would be great to have a vibing bar where ppl can watch the Bears, Bulls, etc. This area is lacking a bar of such.
Good bar but PLEASE PLAY SPORTS on the tvs and not the news or soaps. I can deal with the 'cash only' policy but would go a lot more if you at least played local sports.
