Very different food from when they started there sandwich on Armitage or on Milwaukee steak sandwich bread was like microwave bottom hard very lil taste and meat the Cuban sandwich was on soggy bread not toasted
This is a really nice place. The interior of this small place is beautiful and the paintings all over the place gives a really nice and cozy atmosphere and vibe. The staffs are friendly and accommodating. They are also welcoming. They have a variety of options on their menu and the prices are all fair and reasonable. I ordered a steak sandwich with cheese and café con leche. It’s been a while since the last time I had a café de leche that is why I decided to order it. The service is quick and the steak sandwich was served hot. They put generous amount of steak on their sandwich. I like the sandwich it is delicious and the cheese really added more flavor to it. I also like the café con leche. It is good to know that they have a place like this in the area. Service and the food are excellent. I will definitely be back and will also definitely recommend this to my family and friends!
Since day 1 when I went to the Milwaukee and California’s original spot this has been my goto when I want that delicious mouth watering steak and egg con todo sammich! This place has never given anything less than excellent service and I’m a lifer here! Been coming here at least 20 years and God willing another 20!
