Wow, food wad UNREAL. We had the brussels sprouts, mushroom & quinoa burger, and the wild mushroom teriyaki bowl. Absolutely to die for. We cant believe how good everything was. Drinks were good too. New fav downtown spot.

They are extremely rude and racist. I don’t care who they have at the front desk. We had reservations and arrived 15 min earlier out of courtesy. Once we checked in we were told we had to wait because there was a list of tables before us. It was 23 degrees and we waited while watching and looking around and seeing empty table after empty table! We eventually left because why would we waste our money where we weren’t respected? I later spoke with the manager who seemed to have cared less so here’s my review. If you aren’t 100% white, do not eat here. They will for sure treat you like trash. ??‍♀️ Coming home to visit Chicago was a reminder of how racist and segregated this city truly is! I would never give my money to a company that treats me as if I’m about to rob the place, based upon the color of my skin!!

Always spectacular food and service. Fun drinks and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend the meatloaf!

On Northwestern university medical campus. There is a busy food market where you can purchase food to go, and an indoor seating area, where you can eat. Also there is a full of service restaurant that is more upscale than other choices around the area. Good burgers.

The place is just next to Northwest Medical Center, not necessarily a good place for a good meal. The dishes are surprisingly good, at least as good as the other location on Clark. Ordered Ahi Tuna bowl and the Avocado Toast. Both are good, the same with the pancakes. The server was friendly. However very much annoyed by having to wait at the entry for 20 minutes.

Great breakfast. Had eggs your way. Had chicken sausage. Very good. Service was great. Price reasonable

This was a lovely meal with friends. It felt very safe with vaccine proof required. The staff were very attentive and prompt without a feeling of being rushed. The meatloaf was amazing. Everyone else also really enjoyed their meals too.

Elegant breakfast made with fresh ingredients + fast and attentive staff.10 out of 10. I recommend the light and fluffy lemon pancakes - fresh, warm, lightly saturated with lemon essence and comes with lemon syrup. Not overpowering, and something very unique.Good Stuff:+ Clean and comfortable ambience+ Very quick service+ Good portions+ Well-executed dishes with tons of flavorBad Stuff:None. We visited this place on December 31st, 2021. Our family loves breakfast and we wanted to dial in the focus on quality over quantity for this meal - and we definitely found it.Previously we reserved a table on OpenTable via Google Maps. Staff was friendly, professional and quick. Interior design-wise very warm and cozy.Honestly everything was amazing. The chicken tinga tastes just like mom makes it (I’m Mexican) and I was impressed with how good the shakshouka tasted considering I don’t usually like vegetarian plates. The pineapple habanero margaritas were impressively crafted and not over-the-top with a nice block of clear ice. The true star of the show however was the lemon pancakes, I could go on and on about how well-executed it is - balanced flavor and not overpowering, fresh, warm; If your looking for something unique, give it a try.

The restaurant is open seven days a week and offers a brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday which is actually quite good. We ordered the eggs anyway you like; the green chicken enchiladas were outstanding and truly a highlight, better than the ones I have had in Mexico. You can also eat at the bar and simply have a cup of coffee with pastries. Their pastries are actually quite good.

While in Chicago for the holiday we wanted to find a great place for breakfast that had high quality everything: from food, to espresso, to baked goods. We were pleased to find Beatrix. The entire experience was positive and we were treated with kindness. I would like to especially thank Jon C. He was clearly very busy but he was kind, funny, and offered some great recommendations for a couple of newbies! Great experience overall and thanks so much to Jon C. If you have high expectations for breakfast, do not like to have hum-drum execution on breakfast staples, visit Beatrix! They will leave you satiated and really happy you tried them out! By the way, don’t forget to visit their bakery counter before being seated to choose a little something sweet to nosh on while you wait for your food.
