A really nice treat! Can’t imagine being able to afford this every weekend, but it’s great to see it be so popular at the Wicker Park farmers market! There is always a line albeit manageable for them, even as early as 9:30am on a Sunday.Even though I’m mostly a lemon lime citrus fan, my favorite was the Orange Rosemary Beignet because it had the perfect amount of flavor in each bite, and the dough was so fluffy and not too sweet. I would compare the Chocolate Brioche to the chocolate glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut, but MUCH more substantial, filling, and satisfying! If you like your glazed yeasty doughnuts, this one is a winner. The french toast doughnut was fun with a maple frosting cinnamon tasting cream filling, my least favorite of the three but still really enjoyed it!Chocolate Brioche × 1$3.25Orange Rosemary Beignet × 1$3.25French Toast × 1$3.75
Just incredible. My little cousin is obsessed with the lavender donuts because they “taste like Froot Loops!”Nice and light vegan donuts. Could easily eat 3 in a sitting ?
BEST VEGAN DOUGHNUTS! We go from city to city looking for good fried vegan doughnuts, and you will find an amazing variety here. There’s nothing wrong with baked/cake doughnuts, but sometimes we want a fluffy fried doughnut. They have both options and so many flavors- highly recommend!! (This is an all vegan restaurant, which always gives me peace of mind??)
The best donuts I've had in Chicago-- even better than the other great donut places in the city. These were very original and unique, of excellent quality. They are a little pricey but that's to be expected considering the quality you get. What's most unusual is that it's in an alley, but we felt totally safe. Lovely mural decorates the place. Worker was welcoming and friendly. Only downside I can think of is no place to sit (well, to be expected in that it's in an alley!). I hope they open more locations! I can't wait to go back and try their other flavors! Another plus is that they are vegan-- another place proving there's absolutely no need for cow's milk to make an amazing pastry.
Really good donuts. Like really good. Loads of flavor. Presentation is on point too. Service was wonderful. My only issue is that it's very pricey. A half a dozen of donuts that I bought set me back just over $19. So a dozen of donuts would be over $30 easily.
I'm so glad I found this cute walk up window. All of them look so delicious, I can't wait to try them all! Super sweet staff, too.
Simply delicious It was my first time trying their donuts I never had vegan donuts but you can’t really tell the difference It was a 45 min ride for me since I stay far but it is well worth it ?
Don't blink, you might miss it. Located in an alleyway, these are can't miss donuts. Seriously, the best Boston Cream I've ever had. Whenever I'm nearby, I can't help but stop by and get one. They introduce new flavors randomly, so keep an eye on their social media.
Definitely my favorite donuts in the city. The french toast donut is so good! The boston creme and chocolate glazed are also amazing.
Not just because our daughter with life threatening food allergies can have them, but because the donuts are legitimately delicious AND the customer service is beyond awesome, we are Beacon Donut fans for life! Thank you for existing, our daughter is over the moon about these donuts!
