Our new favorite Italian restaurant! Great food and wonderful service.
My boyfriend and I had an amazing early Valentine's Day dinner on 02/12/22. The service was great as well, thanks to our server Jason, we had a nice conversation with him about Rome. The owner came to check on us and even handed us some Baci chocolates. We definitely will be coming back!
Family owned and it feels like family there.BYOB so look the menu over to pair your wines.Servings are very generous so feel free to ask for fresh plates to share the wonderful tastes.They are very cooperative. No children's menu so another reason to share.Their steak is incredible according to my brother and has Eaton at all the famous steak houses in Chicago and Las Vegas and said this was the best.Wait staff was very friendly and help set up the last two birthdays we had there.It is worth a destination restaurant.Go there and try it. Very good.
Very, very disappointed!! Horrible except for my husband’s birthday. Very sad but they almost destroyed our party, thank god we have great friends and we turn on everything to the fun side. Terrible service, really, really bad.. I never had that problem before with so rude and unprofessional staff..!! First at all waiter why took our order got all mess up. Pour guy was so confused, he didn’t know where he was at all. I don’t know if this was his first table to serve but he really needed some help and he never got that. We waited so long, I thought food would never come out. And then suddenly he start serving all plates, one by one, with wrong order, double some plates. After we told him it was wrong he started come out with more plates, letting us know that chefs wanted to give us.. At all that time, he had the pleasure to have very mad and rude helping girl, who was throwing up on the table in front our faces all the silverware! Like you can see how disgusted she was from all of us! Showing no respect at all. Knocking on the table with water bottles. Never responded to me or someone else asking for anything! If I was manager she would be fired right away! Any way, time for birthday cake. Even more disappointed. Pour server come out with cake in paper box, placing it on the wrong side, back to my husband face, with back side candles. It was so sad I just started laughing. But any way, I will never again go to this restaurant, worst experience ever..!! Don’t recommend at all! Please read reviews first. That was my mistake.
We LOVE this place! We found this place in July 2021 and just had our sixth visit because it is the best Italian food we have had outside of Italy itself. I am very picky with Italian food, but this place truly is the real deal. We always start with the Brushetta Salmone and are working our way through all of the amazing pasta dishes (and secretly hoping to be “regulars” soon). Each dish has been so flavorful and amazing - it’s so hard to try something new when each dish is so delicious. The quality of food is top-notch and consistent with each visit. The best part is it’s BYOB so I can bring my favorite wine to pair with my favorite food. Also special shout-out to Deuce for the amazing service!!
Sad, but the reality. If you want great food with terrible service as well as freezing temperatures while dining in the winter this is your spot. They feature an distinguished menu with a dining temperature of 34 degrees to keep your meal fresh and cold. Ready to reheat once you are home from the complete dissatisfaction of spending money to be miserable. The servers love to not serve or acknowledge the fact that they have no heat this is the place for you. They even choose to blame the building that is owned by the owners parents. If you love 2 space heaters to warm several thousand square feet to a temperature that requires you to wear gloves boots and scarves you found it. Think this is a one off? I think not as in the summer we enjoyed blistering humid heat. Sauna with your meatballs is the speciality for the summer. Cold soup and cold room they are the spot in the winter.
This place is awesome- we had a group of 10 over the weekend and everyone loved the food. Ace, our server, was great as well! Super fresh an delicious pasta!
Poor service 4 out of 5 times there however takeout is good as you eat it in a welcoming environment. Want to love it as I live 2 minutes away. The food is good but the service is terrible. Not to mention the temp is blazing hot in the summer and ice cold inside in the winter. The staff blames the building. Sad the budiling is the owned by the family. Hate to say won't be coming back.
High end high quality food without a pretentious atmosphere. The wait staff is incredible they make you feel at home and they make sure your glass is never empty. If you are looking for an authentic “home grown” Italian experience Bartucci is the place. Oh and if you want to try a different version of traditional tiramisu order the tiramisu della mamma. It will definitely have you saying mamma mia!
