WOW! This place is incredible. Our server Valerie was awesome! Breakfast and service are top notch! Food presentation was on point and came out quickly. We highly recommend Bacon and Jam when in the area or visiting Chicago. We can’t wait to come back!

Great food and service, and extremely clean, it's got a very good ambience, not dark like the other restaurants plenty of natural light, will really give you a positive spirit. I ordered the corned beef hash with 2 eggs and it was perfect, cooked just right and they don't over season it, you will get to do the seasoning. The coffee was amazing, didn't even need creamer or sugar. My son also enjoyed the experience, the server Valerie gave him crayons and a coloring sheet. Valerie had a positive attitude with a smile. Kathy was also excellent, she works the cash counter and is very proactive and attended to all our requests. As a brown guy, I thank them for treating my son and I like human beings and not being racist which sometimes i get. I will continue to support this well run establishment with people of impeccable character, thank you for a great experience guys, and the food was cheap just 12 bucks for my son and i, without the drinks of course, so you can tip generously! Only one thing , please be careful of the pothole on one of the entrances.

Was excellent coffee but regular breakfast. Had their homemade corned beef hash (small cubes of corned beef mixed with pieces of onion, bell pepper, and cubed potatoes) eggs and French toast. I liked the hash but my ma said it wasn't flavorful enough for her. (Forgot food pics) I'd go back, but not as a 1st choice. Stephanie was our awesome waitress. Staff was very nice.

Very cute and casual farm-themed atmosphere. Visited at 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. The place was nearly empty and still invited us despite set to close at 3pm. Service was frequent and friendly. As for the food, we both ordered skillets and chose the Spanish skillet and Veggie skillet with bacon added for $2. The Spanish skillets taste blended together in a way where no particular flavor stuck out nor in texture. As for my veggie skillet, the cheese and bacon really brought some nice accent flavors to the different textures from the veggies in my skillet. We chose a 2-stack of pancakes as our side. Those were nice and filling. I would be willing to return to order some of their specialty pancakes or waffles.

I've had bad breakfasts before where the French toast I order elsewhere isn't cooked inside, but let me tell you, this Bacon and Jam place hit the spot! Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible! This is a location I would highly recommend! It's inexpensive, and the large portions will keep you full. I don’t live in Chicago but if I did I would come everyday. All the staff I’ve met were pretty welcoming and sweet.

Great variety of breakfast foods (many specialty french toasts), huge portions, fantastic prices and cute, modern setting. Split corned beef hash and bread pudding french toast with a friend and still had enough food to bring home for later. Corned beef hash well seasoned (looking forward to trying the sandwich for lunch). French toast was fluffy and buttery, the jam and syrup set it off. Waitress was very friendly. So glad we have this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood.

Do you like bacon? Their bacon is the bomb dot com. Super delicious, and there service is really fast. If you want breakfast, you want bacon and jams.

Very nice place, friendly staff and really good food at a good price. Don't be surprised to have a short wait as they are popular.

For those look experience, you are looking for a fabulous breakfast experience, you must try the banana cream pie French toast. PS I like it without the coconut. Never tasted anything like this before. Awesome! My daughter had the red velvet French toast. Our server, Stephanie, was attentive to our needs. This is my new go-to place.

Portions size are huge. I couldn’t eat it all so I had to get to go containers. The oatmeal was great!
