The Jerk tacos were AMAZING. The only reason I’m leaving a 4 star is because of the mac & cheese. It was like a basic boxed brand. The fires were really good too but I had ordered in Grubhub, so they were soggy by the time I got them.
Disaster of an experience. Similar to some other comments - this isn’t the place for delivery. Waited two hours for our order only to discover the driver had left all the food at the restaurant and only had the drinks!! I mean wtf…how does that even happen. Restaurants suggestion…grubhub issue a refund and then I reorder and start the whole process all over again. Not very apologetic. Don’t recommend and would NEVER order from them again.
Drove from the west loop to this restaurant on Wednesday and ordered a whole jerk chicken which should have consisted on 2 legs 2 thigh 2 breast 2 wings and it was 4 leg quarters that they gave me. The chicken was not all that good The festivals was very dry and hard so obviously they was old. I ordered two beef Pattie’s and one of them was old and dry but the other one was fresh. The cabbage was greasy. Just not a good day for them and the food
This place has the best Jamaican food in town! I've been going to this restaurant for over 8+ years for both pickup and delivery! Sadly, I've ordered from this place for the last time. When I order food through the website, the restaurant uses Uber Eats/Doordash drivers, which aren't very reliable! I've had multiple orders not get delivered; and the restaurant blames it on delivery drivers, and states it's the fault of the customer! Unless you pickup the food, this place is not worth the headache for deliveries!

Was there today. Only draw back is you can't sit down to eat. Got the oxtail which was very good. Portion size was good..The person that took our order was very polite and efficient. Will definitely stop in again if I am in the area.
This is probably by far the best Jamaican I've tasted in the states. Jerk chicken is amazing! Don't pass this Gem up!!!
I wanted a burger, she was unfortunately sold out. I opted instead for the Chicken Curry, extra plantains and a side of Mac & Cheese.
My first impressions of Aunty Joys Jamaican Kitchen: (based on ordering delivery) I had the popular Jerk Chicken meal-Great portions of food with robust flavors and the ever so familiar taste of Caribbean/Jamaican jerk spices.-The meal comes with generous portions of well seasoned Jerk chicken, steamed cabbage, fried plantain and black beans and rice.Overall everything is made spectacular! The taste, the flavors, the portions. You can really feel the love they put in this food. It is magical!
Awesome food, placed my order online and it was ready at the specified time! The oxtail dinner was delicious, I'll definitely be back soon.
