Absolutely delicious food ?! love the whole vibe! Easy to order and gorgeous and delicious desserts! Great place to put together a gourmet food basket too!
Love this place! Nice people, great food!
I ABSOLUTELY loved this place. Pleasantly inviting. Lots of options. Excellent pastries and great coffee.A must try, the strawberry raspberry (I can't remember the exact name.)
Hands down one of the best cafes I've been to in Chicago. Dining area is fantastic and aesthetically very pleasing to the eye. Good for a romantic date and also for getting work done (they have a balcony-style area which is more quiet). Desserts are tasty AF and don't forget to try out the traditional Greek coffee (aka Turkish coffee, aka the coffee you find in most Mediterranean countries). Loved it!
Good recommendation are only given to Good works, I appreciate the effort of Mrs Patience Adamson, for helping me work from home mostly in this corona pandemic era. Enjoyed their desserts during the Greektown festival
Gross undercooked runny eggs. Rude staff at the cash register. It's unfortunate this place used to be a Chicago staple. Brought a friend here from out of town and was totally disappointed. Times change
I had a good experience in this place. My order was simple: a cup of cappuccino (my go-to coffee drink) and a slice of almond baklava. The coffee was good. I watched the barista making it and was happy about some simple latte art. The almond baklava's been drenched with honey and full of nuts. Also, the cafe is very spacious and lovely. However, the system is a bit weird. I made the order in one place but had to pick up my coffee at the bar. Not a problem, but I'm glad I've asked, otherwise I'd be waiting for my drink, and it won't ever arrive.
Second time visiting this cozy little place. At first I thought this was just a pastry and coffee shop, but they also have lunch to offer as well! Very cozy coffee vibes. You order at the desk when you're ready, you pick up your drinks from the bar, food will be brought to your table. I got the matcha latte and the portobello sandwich with a side of white bean soup in a savory tomato chunk broth. I enjoyed everything from latte to mushroom, but was most surprised at how well seasoned and tasty their soup is. Can't wait to return and try some of their pastries displayed next to the front desk.
A cozy, home-y cafe experience. Friendly staff, festive decorations, and plenty of tables to choose from to get some work done while sipping on a latte. Highly recommend!
